Worked great and you can splice it to your origional shock sensor.
Worked great and you can splice it to your origional shock sensor. To the guy who said its not sensitive enough is lying, you have to turn the dial clock wise to max it out so now if you even flick my window it chirps.Remember, it DEPENDS WHERE YOU PUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wire it to loose wire somewhere and 1 on the steering column, goodluck breaking in my truck quietly.

Please step away from the vehicle
Besides being sometimes too sensitive, this baby works awesome.! If you live in a apartment complex or work where lots of people walk by your car it will go off a lot, but it will protect a truck or convertible from people reaching in.

Works great on an E90
It's a great addition to my factory alarm on my BMW E90. Made my own harness (look up DEI shock harness version 2). It works great! Covers the whole car if mounted in the same place I did. Fits perfectly between the ultrasonic sensor and the rest of the housing. It not being mounted to the metal itself greatly reduces false alarms from rain and such. However a helicopter going over my house did set ir off. Dialed it down a touch and it's much less sensitive. I'm going to just go back to where it was and deal with the false alarms.Be aware when adjusting sensitivity, barely turning the dial can go a long way.

These are pretty much universal and can be used for any project if you put your mind to it. You can adjust the sensitivity via set screw inside the case. Just pop off the cover with a flat head screw driver and adjusti it to desired setting. The wires are for negative triggered alarms but can also be used for positive triggered alarms if you wire it to a 4 pin relay.

PDF Instructions notate to Air ducts or Wiring harnesses...
Easy install with additional DEI Glass Sensor on Viper Alarm System: per PDF instructions below"recommend mounting the 504D sensor with wire ties or double-sided tape. Air ducts or wiring harnesses work well for mounting, although it is best to avoid harnesses containing lighting circuits.N O T E : : Mounting the sensor to the vehicle body or to metal panels will reduce sensitivity."
