Just wanted to let anyone who's trying to buy this know that it's an original part (even confirms it on the HP Print app after installing the printer head). The HP Tank series (I have a 500 series) have print heads that tend to dry up if not regularly printing. When you do print with a dry printer head, you end up with inconsistent printing (faded text, incorrect colors, etc.) even if it's just the black printer head that's dry (as was our case at home). The print quality is so bad that you think you would need to either repair or altogether buy a new printer. But, just replace the printer head, and your printer is back as good as new.
