My modem and router have always been located in my basement office for years. Our internet speed lagged and suffered on our main level while on our devices and streaming shows on tv.Well, we got the modem and router moved on Thursday to the main level. This was a great move and our download and upload speeds are where they should be.However, my PC in my office had “NO” internet connection until I purchased this little device on Amazon for $35.99. I ordered it on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday.It plugged right into a USB port on the back of my PC and I was connected!Plug and play. I only had to locate my router and put in my password. That’s all it took. No other set up or configuration was needed. It is super fast!!!I now get a great WiFi signal in the basement office. What a very cool device. I highly recommend this should you find yourself in my same situation. I wish I had done this sooner.

I have a 2 story house, the router is on the first floor on the south end, and one of my boys is upstairs on the North end, bit of a challenge to reach that distance.After I purchased my Nighthawk router I was thinking my sons would finally get a good signal, but no. I went through 3 different brands of extenders to no avail. Purchased multiple USB wireless adapters, one with an antenna. I saw an ad for the AC1900, thought it looked cool so got it for him. Not only does it work perfect, I got rid of my extenders! No more running through the house every time a storm knocks the power out to reset everything. The best part I liked is this thing has a cable that reaches the PC, so you can set this thing on the desk.

Easy to set up, quick to link to wifi modem, plenty fast data rates for what I need

I purchased the AC1900 version of this. With the 4 antennas. I get about 200mbs upload and download speeds. Idk where that upload speed is coming from, but i should be getting more download. But overall. Its a good product for the price. I recommend it.

For some reason, my desktop computer never gets decent WiFi while the laptop does fine. This fella worked right out of the box. Plugged it in, followed a few simple instructions, and within minutes I had full WiFi instead of a thin signal that went out at random. Excellent purchase.
