Zinus Louis 48 Inch Black Metal Frame Dining Table with Benches / 3 Piece Dining Set/Easy Assembly

My wife and I bought this table for slightly less than what they're asking now ($185 + $15 shipping) to turn a corner of our living room into a dining area. We have a Zinus mattress and bed frame which earned the company a good reputation with us. This table has absolutely exceeded all expectations and Zinus' reputation remains strong with us. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a table of these dimensions. The fit and finish are excellent and the materials are dense and feel very substantial. We have the table and benches set up on a hardwood floor and all of them are absolutely rock-solid. This is BY FAR the sturdiest piece of assemble-yourself furniture I have ever had. I am honestly amazed at how sturdy it is; if I put a drink on the table and press my hand on the surface and TRY to wobble it (without moving it along the floor) the liquid barely moves. The subtle texture on the surface has a high quality feel; it has the feel of a professional office desk, like a reception desk or nurse's station. As far as I can tell is the surface is non-porous, at least for every day stuff. We've spilled food and beverages on it, no problem. I clean it with Lysol wipes and it dries just fine, no streaks, stains or other ill effects. If this is a sufficient size for your needs, this table is excellent for playing games. The slight texture and hard surface make it easy to pick up cards if you have the fingernails for it. Any praise for the table applies to the benches. Eating meals on a bench without any back support took some getting used to, but I now prefer it over regular chairs. Assembly was at least as easy as comparable Ikea furniture. My only complaint is that the set did not come with any feet. The table legs end in textured rubber caps that serve the function of removable/replaceable feet, but the benches don't have any rubber or felt or plastic material where the frame meets the floor. I suppose the rationale was that since the bench frame runs along the floor surface and doesn't have any sharp edges that feet for sliding and protecting the floor weren't necessary. I bought some adhesive felt pads and put them on myself. I like this table so much that I have ordered another table by Zinus: the Jennifer desk, which looks similar to this table, but has traditional desk dimensions. If it is half as sturdy and well-built as this table, then it will be a great improvement over the Ikea Linnmon/Adils it is replacing. If it is anywhere near as good as this table (or surprisingly bad) then I will write a review for that desk, as well.

I brought this table almost 2-3 years ago and it’s still in the best condition. Lightweight for moving , very sturdy , took less and 1hour to put together , height is perfect for my kitchen . Everything lined up perfectly for install. They also have like 2-3 colors to choose from but i went with black as i have kids . Favorite part is it’s so easy to clean. ! Like just a damp rag and it’s gone.

I was really very surprised with this product. I get most of my furniture online so I’m usually used to getting lower quality products, and for the price I, I purchased this table (and one other product of theirs) with the expectation more or less that they would be shoddy, and I would probably be replacing my furniture again in 3-4 years. So, you can imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find solid, sturdy materials, sturdy bolts, and a detailed installation guide (even if the furniture itself was extremely simple to put together). Not to mention a nice, small riveting tool that came included (though didn’t come with my other, smaller purchase), and a few thank-you cards that I can repurpose to send to my friends when I get things. Like?? Not what I expected for an entire dining set in my budget. I did have one major issue with this, and that’s that the connecting slot of one of the two-part leg pieces was soldered odd, and the leg itself wouldn’t fit into opening it was supposed to connect to. I probably could’ve sent it back to have a proper piece resent to me (it does come with a warranty and a description of warranty allotments), but my roommate and I were eventually able to bend things into place with a hammer and pliers, and after a couple hours of work managed to get it to fit into the joint. The table is fine now and everything fits perfectly, but whether this happens to someone and they fix it themselves or send it back, it’s still faulty products being sent out, so I did take away a star. Otherwise, I really love this product, and I’m excited it’s going to be sturdy enough for me to use for a good long time.

We needed a table so I've seen a lot of other tables, but I really like the design of this table. This table fits very well in my house and is the right size for the space I think. And this table is very easy to assemble by yourself. This table is a smooth surface and easy to clean, so it can be wiped clean even when the food is flowing. And it is very strong and strong, and I feel a sense of stability. And because the table chairs are long, many people can sit down. Also, the table is big enough to hold many dishes. This table is very good quality for price. Simple yet modern and stylish. The real thing is more wonderful than the one shown in the picture. Especially, the white color that I chose is suitable for all floor and wallpaper. I thoroughly looked at both the table and the chair, and the finish of the furniture process is well done. You do not have to worry. Buy it now!

I purchase this dining table for our new home because my fiancée thought that benches for dining tables were the new in. And indeed, it is! This is a well constructed, sturdy dining table with a handsome wood finished surface that is a welcome addition to any modern home. I'm really thankful for the aesthetic that it gives my new apartment because the wood is well grained, and you can definitely tell that it is quality wood that they used to make the table. The metal frame too is a dark, burnished metal that is a sturdy and handsome. It was quick to construct, with well-thought out and clear instructions, and easily fits a family of four for any warm family dinners that you would need at your home.

We bought this at the end of 2023 so we’ve had it for over a year now, and it’s one of my favorite purchases. Compact, sturdy, elegant, easy to assemble. No complaints, I would buy it again and highly recommend.

Beautiful table, so easy to put together a 10 year old could do it. They gave me a nice little alan wrench device that is SO USEFUL (thank you so much this has revolutionized my online furniture building) and it came with a couple cute greeting cards as well. Very sturdy, the benches are great. (Highest weight on the bench was 250 lbs and it didn't budge or have any indication of strain/bending). The only thing I don't like about the product is the quality of the laminate, it's very shiny in the light and it would look 10x better if you put some sort of coating on it that made it matte. But for $250, very easily forgiven and overall it's a 5/5.

Zinus makes amazing products. I’ve bought the metal bed frame and this metal table. I can’t give them enough stars for these products. Amazing quality and beautiful products!!!! All in compact shipping with very easy instructions and very few tools. I can’t rave enough about home much I love these products!!!! I’ve never had to contact their customer service because everything’s been wonderful but if it’s as good as the products themselves I’m sure they’re great too.

So easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy. It’s perfect for my space. Love the ratcheting tool too! This is exactly as described and exactly as pictured. Couldn’t be more pleased :)
