Worth it. Remove your old cables to measure first.

Better than OE - Be careful when you measure!
I bought these cables for an '86 Skeeter bass boat. The connections are perfect! The cables are more flexible than the OE cables. I would have given them 5 stars but I had an issue with the measurements: The listing said to add 4ft to your measurement to provide room for a loop at the motor. I measured just under 10ft and ordered the 14ft version. They were 4ft too long! I made the loop at the motor and it looked like crap with a huge loop in front of my outboard. Luckily I was able to find a way to route them so that they came in from the other side, which actually worked better than the original cable routing, while leaving plenty of slack at the motor so that they don't kink or bind at all. TIP: REMOVE YOUR OLD CABLES FIRST, MEASURE THEM, AND GET THAT LENGTH. IGNORE THE DIRECTIONS ABOUT ADDING 4 FT.

Perfect fit
This product was very easy to install and fit without any additional hardware. Be sure to check your connection type and length, if you verify what you need and order the correct part you will have no issues. This cable was a heavier construction that what was on my boat. I was very pleased with it.

Opened box with missing hardware. 14' cables that measured 21'
Got a box that was opened, taped shut and all hardware removed from it. So a cable, with no connectors. Great job!!! Also the 14' cables measured 21' in total... What am I missing here. Getting a refund was a treat too. On the plus, the cables seem to be a good quality. Pretty happy I tore my entire boat apart and then got cables with no hardware. Go with a more reliable company.
