Green Ribbon Passover Matzo 5-1LB Boxes

This Passover we were a little late in ordering Passover matzah. This was available and would arrive in time for the seder so we gave it a chance. We were pleasantly surprised by this matzah. It was fresh and great tasting and arrived very quickly. We would order this again with confidence.

In theory, all passover matzos should taste the same since matzo consists of only two ingredients: wheat flour and water. But this is in theory. In reality, so many matzo brands are bland and tasteless. I eat matzo all year round and am glad to have discovered Yarden. It is an excellent matzo that is just as good as Yehuda, another Israeli brand, but at a lower price. Will definitely order again.

I PURCHASED YARDEN PASSOVER MATZOS BECAUSE I NEEDED A CHANGE FROM THE MATZOS I WAS ORDERING BEFORE I DISCOVERED YARDEN BRAND. I TRIED THEM AND WAS PLESENTLY SURPRISED. I WILL STAY WITH THIS BRAND BECAUSE THEY ARE CRISP, FRESH, AND HAVE A TOASTY FLAVOR. THEY ARE EXCELLENT IN THE MORNING WITH YOUR FAVORITE TOPPING FOR A QUICK BREAKFAST. I DO NOT PLAN TO SWITCH BRANDS ANYMORE, SO I PRAY YOU WILL KEEP YARDEN BRAND ON THE AMAZON MARKET. I TRULY ENCOURAGE MATZO LOVERS TO TRY THEM, I KNOW YOU WILL AGREE.

It's basic matzo, so you can't expect much flavor, but what there is tastes good. They arrived crisp and in pretty good condition considering that matzo are brittle and they have to travel. I'd get them again, over the commonly available store brand.

I wrote a negative review about another product that I received and another seller. This is to retract everything that was stated as it does not belong to the experience and product from this seller/product. Wonderful experience , product and received quickly. I apologize for my error.

Not as good as Yehuda. Yehuda is more crisp. this has a pastier, more solid quality. Not bad matzo, but I prefer the other.. and next year, it will be back to Yehuda.

The matzos arrived in great shape. The use by date was sufficient for me and my wife to consume all five boxes before they got stale. We enjoy the thinness of the matzos as they are easier to eat. Like all matzos, I break them into quarters over the sink, so as not to get the crumbs all over the kitchen! A small price to pay for their enjoyment. Also, since I am on a strict sodium diet they are a dream as they contain no salt.

A relative was visiting when I opened the first box. She commented from 3 feet away: What an awful smell. I tasted one and said: They taste & smell like plastic. (I suspect that they have been stored in a hot warehouse. Also, the plastic wrapping was very thin and weak. When I was trying to take them out of the box, the plastic tore off in a large piece as the remaining plastic & contents fell in my lap.)
