LEDesign 800268WE Am-101WWEW LED Bulbs

Took my Fire HD 10, my PC (to configure router) and my Android phone over two hours to get working. App isn't available from Amazon, had to install from Google. Set up account and entered network password... And had to reset bulb due to time out. App couldn't find the bulb. Removed router network protection. Reset bulb. Couldn't find. Reread instructions = Fire connected to N (5Ghz), not B (2.4Ghz). Installed app on phone. Reset bulb. Entered account and network password - too much time, reset bulb, finally found. App worked ok. Tried app on Fire, ok. Set Skill in Alexa and entered account info, couldn't Discover any devices and gave an error. Checked Fire app, ok, checked phone app, ok. Getting really frustrated. Removed Google app from Fire. Alexa couldn't Discover. Reread instructions and tried Alexa > Smart Home > Device > Discover again, couldn't Discover. Tried disabling Skill and starting again, nothing. Reread instructions and tried "Alexa.... Discover devices"... 1 Device found. Reset network protection and added reservation for bulb.For me, the best news: it appears the bulb remembers color and brightness when turn off by either the app or the lightswitch.I will have to see if I reinstall the Google app on Fire if it works or if Fire can only control via Alexa.

In short, Its bright when you want it to be, dim you you want it to be, acts as a great reading light and stays cool.I bought a couple individual bulbs from different manufacturers to test them out before committing to buying 8 for my main living space (4 in my fan, 3 in my dining room, 1 in the hallway) I wanted to see how the color spectrums provided by the light at 100% bright daylight color would work with my living space. This bulb is a great all arounder IF you like WHITE light.Pinlo vs competitor in the video, Pinlo doing great! (on the left)Pros:-Super easy set up-Nice bright white-Easily groups with other manufacturers lights in the ALEXA app, not the smartlife appsuper responsive to commands both in voice and remote control from phone.Cons:-No default "warm" color option. If you want warmer light, you will need to find the color you like on the color wheel and set a scene to that (no biggie)-SLiGHTLY dimmer than other 9w bulbs on the market while in color mode (but every bit as bright in white.For the newbs out there... don't stress out when trying to add a "group" in the smart life app. Add the bulb as you would any other, go to your alexa app, menu, smart home, and THERE you can group lights (even from different manufacturers) into one group of lights. Set up is easy, to put the bulb in pairing mode, select "bulb" (not the bluetooth bulb, just plain ole bulb) in the smart life app and flick the lights on and off until the light comes on and begins flashing. No switch? No problem! Turn the fixture on, then manually screw and unscrew the bulb until it begins flashing. Hope this helps someone.

Bought this bulb, downloaded app and tried to connect. No luck. The email from the company after log in was in Chinese - literally! So was the link attached. I have several devices from I-Devices and have them connected to Alex without issue. This sucks. I'll give it a few more tries to reset and go through the connection process, if no luck, it's going back. UGGGHHHHHH!Update January 1, 2018I went online and did a little research and found that even though I scanned the supplied QR code, I ended up with the wrong app. I downloaded the proper app and the bulb synced immediately and has worked flawlessly. The only downside I will give is that the supplied paperwork and instructions are not the best and would have saved me from complaining. In the end, it seems to be great. Now we'll see about longevity.

I did have some trouble at first but I followed the instructions and moved the bulb closer to my Access Point/Router and it connected fine once I did that. This is a great product. After I programmed both bulbs and added them to Alexa, I moved them to the living room and now they work great. You can group them together and control them all at once instead of one by one. This is really cool. The Echo Dot really was just a novelty until I got some smart devices. This made it worth having.

I can set certain moods by putting certain colors in the room. As well I can create a schedule so that when I come back from work my lights will be on without me having to do anything. It has definitely made my lighting in my house very convenient as I don’t have to move to change the lights, I can just control it straight from my phone. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and family!

Had no trouble setting up two bulbs on WiFi and grouping them in Alexa. Alexa turns them on and off and percent dimming. they are named "Lights" in Alexa. "turn lights on" "turn lights off" "Set dimming for lights to 50%" The light sync to music that comes with the efamily app, and I understand they will sync to itunes music on the iPhone.Follow procedure to reconnect bulbs to WiFi if they lose connection. Has to do with disconnecting them from electricity a set number of times and intervals.

I almost returned this. It was difficult to set up because I didn't read the instructions. I feel stupid LOL. Anyways, got it set up and you basically have to be patient and click through the prompts. To reset the bulb you turn it off for 10 seconds and cycle it 3 times until it blinks rapidly. You do need a router that is 2.4 GHz to use this. It's pretty cool. Glad I didn't return. App name for the bulb is eFamilyCloud.
