Works great will show every pee stains imaginable but it also will show old stains that have seeped through the carpet into the wood so cleaning some stains while using this might make you feel defeated. I spent 2 hours using stain cleaner, carpet cleaner, and different enzyme cleaners and techniques while using the blacklight and definitely felt defeated

This little blacklight is really compact and works even when rooms aren't completely dark. It worked well on solid surfaces but I don't think it works too great when pointed at fabrics. Instead it detects everything like tiny pieces of lint or other things. Personally, I'll get lots of use out of it. But if you need something really powerful you might want to look at higher quality model.

I could smell cat urine but i couldnt pinpoint exactly to clean. Very helpful product and i could finally show my husband why he should use tissue when he sneezes...truly i dont think he cared but i felt vindicated.whoop whoop! My male cat had a little leakage after being neutered. Light helped me find smelly spots!

This black light is easy to use and highly recommended use is in the dark. I don't have any scorpions at home, but you can use that to find them if you do have a pest issue. I used this to see how dirty my residence is. I checked the bathroom and its amazing what you do not see to the naked eye, then you kinda cringe when you see how much dirt/ stains/ germs are on handles, doors, cabinets and more.

When looking at different options, this was the budget choice I came to. I use it for custodial purposes, and it works very well for the price you are buying it for. It is good quality, pretty heavy for the size and cost (still doesn't weigh a whole lot), and a great addition to your kit if it is something you may want to try.The only drawback for this light is it works a lot better in the dark, and can be difficult to see if there is light. This is normal for UV lights, but if you are trying to use it in more well lit areas, definitly get a bigger brighter one.
