Its wider than a standard cup so the grip is off, and the content is rather small due to the double wall. It doesnt seem to keep things warmer longer than a standard coffee cup. Its durable so far (had mine for a few months and its survived a few knock overs). Its light weight. The lid is bamboo and a rubber/plastic seal. It sweats and smells kinda green or woody when the coffee steams it up. I dont use the lid much because the smell lingers and throws the taste of the coffee off a little. I wouldn't buy it again, but it's served my purpose, too. So its not a total loss of you choose to buy it. Had a Bodum before this one and it was much better, but it shattered after I hit it on the corner of my desk. $30 down the drain

I have bought 10 of these mugs in the past. I know which ones I'm ordering, so no possible mistake there. The last two I just bought are totally different. In my pics the one on the right is shorter, has a wider top circumference and holds aprox. 13oz of liquid. This is the one I've bought 10 of. They came in a nice gift box and included a wooden lid.The one on the left was just sent to me. It is taller, has a narrow circumference, has a larger handle and holds 12oz. It came without a lid. It did come in its own box, but not a nice gift box like before.This is getting 2 stars because this is not the product I ordered or was planning on receiving. Amazon's notification window also stated this was the item I bought in the past. It is not. Honestly, this mug looks nice too, but I wanted all of my mugs to look the same. I don't know if it's as durable.Beware, if you are looking for the mug with the lid in the nice box. This is not the same product anymore!

I love this double-walled clear glass mug for my first cup of the morning. Hands keep cool and liquid stays hot. The size is just right when you want more than a little cup of tea or coffee. I would have wished for only one change -- that the product stickers weren't so difficult to remove. The stickers were on the outside of the mugs. I used "Goo Begone" but didn't touch it. I resorted to lighter fluid. That required 3 applications and then a thorough wash with dish soap. There has to be a better way!

Perfect cup. The handle is more accommodating to the hand than some of the other cups with this same look, plus it has a lid. They work well with either hot or cold beverages and I will be ordering more of them.

This mug kept my drinks warm longer than regular mugs (about 6 degrees higher according to my tests with a meat thermometer) but it's really fragile. I dropped mine on a rug and it shattered to pieces. So if you're a klutz like me, I would consider double-walled mugs that are made from a sturdier material than thin glass.I also think the lid is cooler in concept than execution. For instance, when I fill my mug with hot water and place the lid on the mug for a while, it produces a weird smell in the water. Even if you take the lid off, the water still has a weird smell and taste to it and it doesn't go away until the rest of the drink is gone and the mug is washed.

Handles 10 ounces with enough room left at the top to keep from spilling. The wood lid is a nice touch and the casket under the lid keeps it securely in place while the lid can be used as a coaster. It's glass so I hand wash it and of course careful with how it's handled. The mug isn't as thick as say, a glass beer mug, so keep that in mind while handling.

Very light and I’m afraid to break it or dishwash it. It has held up for about two months but it has been babied. It does the job of keeping the drinks hot, though. Looks really cool while doing it too!
