KJV, The King James Study Bible, Leathersoft, Burgundy, Red Letter, Full-Color Edition: Holy Bible, King James Version Review: Great Bible for the Price! - I really like this Bible. The leather cover feels premium (even if it's not real leather), the font is a good size and comfortable on the eyes, and the margins are lined for note taking. At first, I was unsure how I would feel about the lined margins and column text, but it really looks nice. This is a high quality Bible and perfect for anyone who already takes notes in the side of their current Bible (like I did) without a dedicated space. I will say, this is NOT a study Bible. It does have cross-references and what is different between NKJV and the older manuscripts, but no synopsis before each book or maps or anything like that. It doesn't claim to be a study Bible, and I am rather fond of the text-only nature of the book aside from the footnotes at the bottom. The pages are a little thin for my liking, but not so thin I feel the need to complain about it. The text is still perfectly legible and I see no bleed through. Overall, this is a very nice Bible at a great price. Review: You won’t need google anymore and super great for beginners. - I am very impressed with this Bible by far it is one of the bestest ones I own. And I own three now!! I remember having to go into google all the time to try and just understand little things and who was who. But this Bible gives you background knowledge, history, different references crossing from the old to the New Testament. It seems a bit intimidating at first, but it gives you step by step how to use it, and how to maybe do your prayers. I would say for as complex it is. It really is good for beginners. I have been on my journey with God for a really long time now butttt understanding the Bible sometimes can be tricky regardless of how close or far you may be with God it’s a BIG BOOK composed of many books. So breathe it’s okay. This book does go for 70 but I got this book on sale for like 30 or 35 during prime day sales. And it’s honestly great if you’re wanting to grow your relationship and be a proverbs 31 woman or a Ephesians 5 man. Or just get closer in general, it gives you so many pictures upon cross referencing and then even breaks down bigger words into more simpler words. But DOESNT change the original text from the KJV which is really nice. I’m biased to the KJV so if you’re like me you’ll like what this Bible has to offer while keeping all original text. It has the red lettering and even offers you two string bookmarks within the inside of it. The pages are a bit thicker then normal standard Bible paper which makes it nicer. It’s a soft leather which makes it easier to read and flip through pages!! Overall I have had this bible for four days now and it’s lovely. It even cites all the scholars and people who have helped come up with the information as well. So if you did want to google those said people to learn more you can. I love it and I can see now why it went for $70 originally but I got it on the sale and saved about $40 dollars. But I wanted to show a little bit about the book!!

Very Nice
I’m 57 years old with bad but, corrected vision. I have Bibles from Cambridge, Schuyler, R.L.Allen and Church Bible Publishing. So I’m comfortable in saying I have experience with high quality Bibles. My comments are only regarding how this Bible is presented and not about the King James translation itself. That is a matter of preference and there are a number of positions regarding that. I prefer the KJV myself. This edition has a nice leather cover that I would say is somewhat flexible. Flexable but, not overly so. Similar to a Cambridge Calf Skin. Saying the print size is large is a bit of an overstatement. It may say it’s large print but the letters are thinner it seems. It’s a good size but a bit less than what one would expect from a Large print Bible. It is easy to read though. The commentary and notes are quite readable with the cross references being a bit on the smaller side. The paper is white and thick enough to not allow much ghosting even with color pictures on the reverse side. The color pictures are well done and sharp. The colorization used throughout the Bible is consistent and I quite enjoy it. It’s not over done at all. The back matter is extensive and looks very useful. All in all it is a very nice Study Bible and considering all the information it has the print size is more than acceptable. As with any large volume durability is the question. With heavy or rough use I don’t see this Bible lasting more than a few years. It does not have a paste down liner and the leather cover doesn’t “feel” like it will hold up to much abuse. With all this being said it is definitely worth the asking price however, if you are looking for a Bible that will last a lifetime of use, I’d look elsewhere.

É linda e merece cuidado e carinho. Super satisfeita com a compra :)

Gorgeous to start with, and really gives us a more clear perspective into this ancient lore.

This is my first time owning a King James Study Bible and I'm really enjoying this Full-Color Third Edition. In terms of build quality it is smyth-sewn with a candy-red ribbon marker, and this particular edition is the "Burgundy Leathersoft" which has the look and feel of real leather (and will likely last just as long) and has some pretty cool laser etching on the cover top and bottom that runs from the front all the way around the spine to the back. The only downside quality-wise is that Thomas Nelson decided to use a paper lining on the inside of the cover, but for a $55 pricetag it's a very well-made Bible. The stitching on the cover is gold, with gold lettering on the front cover and across the spine, and the gold gilding is well done (i.e., it doesn't have "train tracks" running along the pages, which is is a common trait among lesser-quality builds). This edition was printed China. It features hundreds of beautiful photographs and images, 57 full-color maps in the text that have been recompiled and redrawn for this new edition, and centre-column references with notes that include alternate and equivalent translations, explanations of unusual King James words and phrases (which is a big plus for me personally), and scores of doctrinal footnotes, personality profiles of biblical characters and archaeological sites. At the back there are a number of helpful topical indexes: Christ and the Gospels, Paul and his letters and end times prophecy. There's also a concordance with original language studies and 8 full-color Bible maps. The 10-point font Bible text makes reading a pleasure, and once again I have to say that, as someone who has never really read the KJV text a whole lot, I am finding the alternate translation notes a real help as they help me to enjoy the reading experience even more. This is a well-crafted Bible with solid study notes that will help the reader better grasp the Word. Well worth your time and investment.

En anglais ils appellent cela "how to breake your Bible".

This KJV Study Bible represents one of the most textually preserved editions of the King James Version, retaining verses and readings that are absent in some modern translations and thus reflecting the traditional manuscript heritage. The volume provides extensive and well-organised study notes, cross-references, and supplementary materials that support careful exegetical and theological engagement. The illustrations are thoughtfully designed and pedagogically helpful, enhancing historical and contextual understanding without detracting from the biblical text. Its dignified literary style, durable leather binding, and well-proportioned size make it particularly suitable for sustained academic and devotional study. Highly recommended.
