They are dirt cheap for the quality, write very well, don't leak, are barrel-filled, so they have an immense supply of ink, and CAN easily be refilled (Google it), making them an excellent investment. Highly recommended.

My niece bought me these pens. They are excellent. Come in lovely colors. I just wish they were a little bit bigger. I am return bought her a set. Great gift, great for anyone who enjoys writing or drawing.

They’re cheap fountain pens but as daily writers they outperform any ballpoint by a landslide. It’s got consistent color and dries instantly so no smearing. It is thicker than most ball points so it’s easier to write with without straining. Keep in mind if you pause a lot between writing (30 seconds or more), put the cap back on. It’s liquid ink, not goo like a ballpoint, so it can easily dry and make it hesitate to write again. I assume this is with any fountain pen.

As far as disposables go, these are great for the price. I don't worry aboit losing them as much as I would my more expensive ones. They write smooth. Very impressive.

Great quality and weight to these pens.

I bought the black ink pens after enjoying the purple ink disposable pens for a couple of years. I love how smooth these Varsity medium point pens write, and how quickly the ink dries (important advantage for lefties). Although I have a regular fountain pen, the Varsity pens are lighter to hold and make for great sketching and writing instruments. Will definitely be buying them again.

Not only is this a very low-cost fountain pen, the ink flows smoothly and the nib never dries out. I found one of these in the back of a drawer that I purchased three or four years ago and the ink flowed like I had just used it 10 minutes ago. I take these with me everywhere. If I lose one, it is so inexpensive that it doesn't matter.

I’m can’t have less than 2 of them around at any given time. The nib and quality are next to perfect for the price, I usually use a Mont Blanc fountain pen or more refined, these are easy to use and never break or streak till the last drip of ink.
