Yes I use them on my 400 cu in engine

Q: Are there suppose to be tabs on the top of the filter, so it snaps into the oil filter cap? I’ve seen those on the filters in YouTube videos.

I’ve been using this filter on my CTS since it’s new 2010 never had the tabs on the filter even the original filter.

Q: Can you use this filter with synthetic oil?

Yes. I use this filter in my Cadillac with Mobil 1 synthetic oil
