The Nutio dark chocolate hazelnut spread is a very very lovely flavor. It isn't overtly bitter or dusty like a lot of dark chocolate items tend to be, but it isn't cloyingly chemical sweet like milk chocolate tends to be. It has a very authentically chocolate flavor with a texture that lends itself to spreading on bread much better than Nutella does. It can be a bit runny depending on the ambient temperature of the room, but that also means it can easily act as a sauce or syrup for any of your ice cream or choccy milk needs! It's a wonderful flavor and I will certainly be purchasing it again. If Nutella makes you feel sick, either because it's too sweet or because of the thick texture, this is a great alternative.

The jar I received has a 'best by' date of February 2025, so I thought I could 'deal with" Justin's Chocolate, Hazelnut and Almond Butter before opening the Nutio jar -- and the Nutio jar went into the fridge (for later). Then, I thought I should at least get a taste of it.The Nutio jar had been in the fridge for a couple of hours. It had hardened enough to be eaten with a spoon (no need to spread it on anything), i.e. no mess; hardened as it was, it was very, very good. Still, I will eat the Justin's product first.--------------Addendum - June 18, 2024If you put it in the refrigerator, it hardens and is no longer spreadable. Let's hope that keeps your kids (or your husband) away; obviously, a hardened spread is no longer a spread, and should be left alone. BUT you know better, so take a knife or a sharp spoon, and dig in whenever you feel like having a bit of chocolate; make sure you are not watched and don't tell anybody (or you may have to share); just re-order whenever the jar is almost empty.If that sounds devious to you, remember that being devious is quite common (especially in an election year), and enjoy your chocolate snack. You deserve it! The kids? Not really, but you can take the jar out of the fridge once in a while (if it helps them eat broccoli and other 'reasonable' stuff).[My kid is grown up and does not like sweets, but he likes broccoli and leaves all the ice-cream bars for me.Nothing wrong with that, is there?]

As other people have reported the safety seal came completely loose in the jar. Luckily it wasn't a mess but unfortunately the product is not safe to eat as it may have been tempered with.Looks and smells good but poor packaging drops this to a 1 star.

I am not going to make any statements about how healthy this is. Sort of like dessert with some protein! YES, hazelnuts, but also, lots of sugar and milk. Which is why it is SO DELICIOUS! Super creamy. Really very good. Will buy again. Had never tasted anything like this, bought it based on reading the description. If you like creamy dairy flavors and hazelnuts, and a super creamy spread, this stuff is for you. No gritty nut bits at all. Frankly, to be honest, I am just eating it out of the jar with a spoon.

This hazelnut butter is wonderful there is no added flavor (cocoa) just nuts. Smooth deliciousness.

We love chocolate hazelnut spread and wanted to try this. It is pretty good, was fun to try but I won't purchase regularly. The price is a little high for me and you do get a weird synthetic aftertaste.

I bought this product mainly to replace a hazelnut spread that mainly contains sugar and palm oil, even though this one still have sugar it’s main ingredient is hazelnut. The taste is really good, I like this chocolate hazelnut spread so much that I bought the creamy vanilla hazelnut spread and also is delicious.

Omg this is so good. It’s the center of a hazelnut truffle or the cream inside a kinder bueno. So much better than with cocoa like Nutella
