Im going to use this for bikepacking. Will it be warerproof in its bag to strap to the handle bars if it rains?

Yes our custom made stuff sack with compression straps is waterproof and could easily be attached to a bikes handlebar.

Has it got a sewn groundsheet?

Hi Peter, The Appalachian 2 does come with a ground sheet included which can be used under the tent floor. It is recommended for rough terrain but some people choose to leave it out to reduce pack weight. If you have any other questions then please do not hesitate to reach out. Hope this helps.
