My garage has cheap vinyl siding and I wanted to put a window in the wall . After pulling the siding off to put the window in , I needed a tool to properly install the old siding . It's fine. I think these are used for a kind of manually intensive job, you have to get the positioning just right and then you get into a rhythm. If you're doing a big job, I'd recommend something that will make it easier. But for a quick piece of siding removal this was fine. It took a while to get the hang of it and even then it was still pretty difficult, likely more the overall job rather than the tool itself. It was sturdy and didn't bend at all even with all the pressure put in it.

Great little tool. A must have when replacing damaged siding.

Worked perfectly for its intended purpose. I saw a long piece of vinyl siding pulling off the side of the house. Tried to snap it back in using my hands, and failed miserably. Ordered this and had the siding snapped back in within minutes. just start next to where it's still snapped in properly, pull down on the piece of siding and push the siding in with your other hand. You'll hear it snapping into place. Ideally as you push in, you slide the tool a bit further down the section that's still pulling off. I found that it was sort of "sticky" as in hard to slide and it would jump or stop at times, but I could just put it back into place and try again. You have to get the feel for it, but it is 100x easier than trying it without this tool.

the end probably needs to be finer/sharper, seemed to have difficulty getting between the piece being removed and the piece below it
