I'm actually impressed with a set of flatware!
I'm really impressed with the quality and design of this flatware. After over 6 decades of using traditional flatware, the look of the flatware is what gets you first. To some, it may look a little weird, but then you pick it up and use it, and you have that "Ah-Ha!" moment. This flatware is heavy. Like something you would find in a finer dining establishment. In fact, you could probably defend yourself quite nicely with one of the tablespoons. You could knock someone out hitting them in the head with one! However, that's the beauty of these. You feel like you are holding something, and they fit nicely in your hand and seem to be very well balanced. Both the tablespoons and teaspoons feel good in your hand. The design of the spoons makes the tablespoons a great soup spoon as well. The blade on the dinner knives actually have an edge on them! They are by far the sharpest of any dinner knives in previous cutlery sets I have owned. Not overly sharp where mere contact with the edge will cut you, but you can cut meat with these. The forks (or Knorks) are the centerpiece. Use them the first time with something you normally cut with your fork, like a piece of lasagna. The beveled edge of the fork glides through without smashing down your food, plus you have the wider "finger rest" when you are pushing down, which makes it even easier. That feature is actually on every piece. The area where you finger normally sits on a knife, fork or spoon when you are "cutting" with them is wider on these, making it more comfortable.Really happy with this set, and give it my highest recommendation!

Extremely functional and feel great
These are heavy and have the best feel in your hand. My old Robert Welch set was similar weight but not nearly as functional as these are. Was a little skeptical of the fork tines as they look extremely curved, but they are perfect. For the satin finish it says do not use lemon based detergent for cleaning. We always hand rinse first so haven’t had food stuck for long periods of time. So far no issues using regular dishwasher detergent.Love this sturdy set of utensils and all my guests have given lots of compliments about them. Would buy again if ever needed.

Durable and shiny.. after 5 years.
Bought these because of the look. After I got them I loved the curved and snoopy appearance. I have had them for almost five years and they look as beautiful as they did when new. I toss them in the dishwasher and not a scratch. They are shiny and do not scratch . Love these silverware. No more cleaning silverware. Love it !!!

Weight of silverware makes it fall off plate
Overall I love the look and feel of this silverware. While I love the weight of handles on the forks and spoons because they feel heavy and solid, that same weight causes them to easily fall off plates/flip out of bowls. Nothing like having a spoonful of soup splashed all over the dining room table, or the silverware falling off the dinnerware as you’re heading to the table with a plate of food. The weight of the handles needs to be re-engineered.

I LOVE this flatware!!
After having three pieces of my mismatched junky flatware break in the space of two months, I decided that at the ripe old age of 73, I would treat myself to my very first set of brand new GOOD flatware. I've never bought anything but garage sale and Goodwill flatware all my adult life and decided it was past time to buy myself a well-deserved Christmas present. I called my daughter, a retired chef, who I know is extremely picky about stuff like this and who had bought herself new flatware a couple of years ago. She said she had used this Knork ware in a restaurant once and had lusted after it until she found herself a set. I bought it and fell in love with it the first time I held it in my hands. It feels comfortable, has a good heft to it, looks classy as all get out, and it comes out of my dishwasher looking great. The very day I received it, opened the box, washed it, and used it at lunch, I loaded up all the junky stuff I'd been using for years (there was a total of three different kinds in my drawer), and took it straight back to Goodwill. I love it more every day. And the best part? I noticed on the box that the Knork company is in Newton, Kansas, which is 20 miles away from where I live. So even though I bought it through Amazon, I was buying locally without even knowing it! Perfect!!

Solid quality!
After much research (especially 18/10 vs. 18/0), I purchased this set and could not be any more delighted. Weighty, solid, easy to grasp, hold & use, I had no problems using this flatware.During my decision making process, I contacted Knork customer service. Their response was immediate, they are helpful and gracious, patiently answering my (seemingly 100!) questions.I've run the pieces through the dishwasher several times (I have a tendency to wash my dishes/silverware to death lol) and they come out looking clean and shiny.Since I'm a little fussy regarding cleaning my silverware, my 'care' is several steps but not time consuming or difficult., I rinse off my utensils immediately after use (I don't allow food to harden/sit on silverware) and soak them in mild soapy water (Dawn) and rinse prior to throwing them in the dishwasher. I also take the silverware out of the dishwasher as soon as I can after the cycle, wipe off all the excess water with a soft cotton towel and allow them to air dry for a bit before tossing them in the drawer.I DID run "quality control tests" on these when I got them, doing everything the Care Instructions say NOT do do, like soak them for a long period of time, not cleaning off the food immediately, etc. While I DO NOT RECOMMEND running these 'tests', I encountered no problems!I couldn't be happier with this flatware and I know I'll enjoy them for many years to come!

Food tastes better
My wife and I were a little skeptical when we bought these, but they have been one of the best purchases!! The way the food enters my mouth and the way the utensil releases the food is AMAZING!! They have a great weight to them and they feel very high quality!! The fork is my favorite!! It cuts everything with ease!! LOVE THESE THINGS!!
