Outstanding Forest Honey
Excellent, but I think it tastes a little different than it did 20 years ago. Great on dark bread. As German Delis have all but disappeared, this forest honey is extremely hard to find in retail stores. Try it; you’ll love it!

lovely honey I add it to bread dough
strong honey taste ,I have had a difficult time finding this brand and type in our area ... it stands out in coffee or drizzeled over a hot pineapple ham pizza

Nother Seller With Crap Packaging
I'd love to order again, but the seller used a thin piece of bubble wrap for the jar and <something> during transit resulted in the lid being cracked and broken (it's a plastic lid). I don't understand how sellers that do this don't understand how to properly package their goods for shipping. The honey on the other hand is insanely good and delicious.

good stuff
good flavor. I've been making an oat recipe that calls for honey, so I have been experimenting, and this honey has great flavor on it's own and works very well in the recipe.

My, my, my...
This stuff is soooooooo yummy I can't even begin to describe it with words!!! If like me, you L O V E honey, then you owe it to yourself to try this for certain. It is unlike ANY honey (especially local here in the states) I have ever tasted. It is mild yet sweet but not super-sugary like this over-processed crap on chain store shelves. Also it is not as thick as local honey. It's almost like syrup in consistency. I've tried it in tea, toast, shakes, oatmeal.

A little thicker and darker than Camelina honey of Quebec. I liked the taste but there is a hint of flavour I can't put my finger on. A bit stronger than Camelina, perhaps woodsy or a rustic flavour. So, some people may prefer the Camelina and others may prefer the Langnese forest honey. I preferred the taste of Camelina better AT FIRST. Don't get me wrong, Langnese forest honey still tastes good. May be more of an acquired taste. Langnese likely has more nutrients, as the darker the honey, the more beneficial to your health and well-being. However, since each honey is unique, there are phytonutrients Camelina has that Langnese forest honey does not have and vice versa. Oh, and my honey was bubble wrapped like Fort Knox as there has been lid issues in the past. My lid was intact. All good. Everything considered, Langnese forest honey from Germany is very reasonable and would be good on bagels, toast, coffee or tea. This honey is growing on me. I find this honey to have a high nutrition quotient, so I would highly recommend. I add a full tablespoon to my morning nutrition energy mix.
