Great basket for a great price
Great backyard practice basket. Easy to set up and catches discs well. Pretty stable.

The answer to your question is "Yes."
So I splurged and replaced my homemade basket with something with PDGA specs (will follow up below). However, I didn't want to (cough* couldn't afford to) splurge THAT much, so instead of the shiny, name-brand, PDGA approved, I saved a few bucks and went for the 24-chain Yaheetech basket.Let's get at it.Unboxing: As I unboxed, I wasn't overly impressed with the cheap styrofoam that is now somehow stuck to my ceiling (which is vaulted, 12 foot, how???). However, the basket and corresponding parts were nicely wrapped and protected, but easily extricated from their packaging. I noticed the weight of the band and basket, but not so much on the base. As I opened up the bag of chains, I was surprised and initially disappointed with the feel/weight of them. Definitely felt flimsy and light.Assembly: Putting it together was a cinch. It's pretty obvious what goes where without looking at the instructions, but I'd still recommend a quick glance at them. As noted in some of the other reviews, the holes didn't perfectly line up, but were so close that I didn't have issues. One of the alignments was off enough that I had to finagle the pole/top a bit to get the screw in, but it wasn’t too bad.Assembled: Honestly, the build is pretty solid. The only knock I have is the base isn’t overly sturdy. In the grass, it was a little wobbly, but on my deck, it was nice and flat and solid. The chains: Coming back to this. I initially thought they felt flimsy, light and that they wouldn’t catch anything. Boy was I wrong. I put 100 putts into this thing and it caught so well. Wow. The chain links themselves were small enough that I think that when the chain crumples, it envelops the disc and knocks it down. The weight of the chains does not appear to be an issue at this point.PDGA Spec: It’s not PDGA-approved, but it’s built to spec, so it’s going to be on par with a name-brand, approved basket.Pros:LightweightCatches wellAffordableCons:Base is light and wobbly on a rough surface, but sturdy on flat, hard surface.Powder coated, not galvanized, so might not hold up outside for long duartions?

GREAT basket, especially for the price when on sale!!
I've held off purchasing a basket to use in my backyard as I was torn between spending more money for a more recognized name or trying one of the off-brands. When this went on sale for almost 50% off, I decided it was worth trying as most reviewed were very positive. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. Assembly was super easy and quick, with everything you need provided. I was throwing discs within 10 minutes of opening the box. It's pretty stable even without the provided stakes, but I put those into the ground and was impressed with the stability. There was some concern around the chains but I haven't noticed any excessive wear on the discs (guessing they addressed that issue at some point) and the sound of a great putt sounds GREAT!! If you've been considering grabbing one this one shouldn't disappoint!! Already trying to figure out if I need a couple more and have a mini-course. :)

Great back yard basket for the price
So I've gotta say I was definitely nervous making this purchase since I had never heard of this brand before. Upon receipt of the basket all my doubts immediately went away. This basket is great. If you find a good sturdy spot to set it up in your yard you wont have any problems. It's light enough you can easily move it, yet heavy enough it doesn't look like it's gonna tip over when you hit it with a few discs back to back. It don't know how weather proof it would be in the long run as i have not been leaving it outside. Its easy enough to move that I can stick it in a corner in the garage and easily take it to the back yard when I wanna get some putts in. It's a great basket, that's the right size, and definitely the right price. Plus the chains catch pretty well too. Although not as well as the nicer baskets at the course, but a few robbed putts in practice never hurt anybody, hell if anything it adds a slight bit more challenge making those grabby ones easier. The not as great:The base: The base is not super sturdy, you need to have it on very flat ground. I've been thinking that I could maybe use several tent stakes to keep it from moving if I want to try it on uneven ground. I just happened to find the perfect flat spot in my back yard for it.Assembly: while it really didn't take that much time to assemble The holes where the hex bolts go in where slightly off from the outer and inner pieces so you kinda had to lift slightly while also trying to screw it in which can be a pain in the ass if you are by yourself.Portability: It's easy enough to move around your property without assembly so that's great, but I would consider it a more of an at home basket with the option of occasional portability. As previously stated assembly can be kinda obnoxious and having to take it a part and put it back together all the time would suck. But it is great to have the option, and the bag to put everything in is a nice touch.Overall this is definitely a 4 star basket and I would recommend to anyone who wants one but doesn't have the budget to shell out for a name brand. Or hell, even though who may want a name brand would be satisfied with this.

Putt fun at home and camping
Great practice basket. Love to putt around the yard at home, also plan on bringing it camping for another activity for myself and the kids. I think the price was great deal considering the construction of the product. Not as heavy duty as the course baskets, but much better quality than some of the other portable baskets I saw while shopping around

Solid value.
As advertised. Easy to assemble, lightweight and very simple to move. Would recommend. If you plan to leave it outside consistently, maybe spray it down with some rust preventer.
