I searched and searched for a daybed cover before discovering this set. Some of the photos that I saw looked pretty sad, so I bought this set hoping that it would be the right look for my room. I was thrilled when I received it. I did iron the set which was easy enough to do. It fits my daybed perfectly and is very rich looking. I did buy the extra pillows, giving it a "fuller" look. I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a navy blue daybed cover.

I bought this knowing I would probably modify it. Our daybed is a very thick mattress on top of a platform I had made for this purpose. It has always been covered with a well made heavyweight matelasse cover made like a fitted sheet and had a very taylored, tight fitting look. That cover has worn out and I haven’t been able to find anything comparable. This one seemed to fit the bill as closely as I could find. The blue is a very dark almost navy which is what I wanted and expected from reading other’s reviews. I think it is a very good weight and well made for this price. I like the reverse stripe also. Am not using the bed skirt and though others have been critical of it I find no fault with it. Don’t like the design on the throw pillow and will not use. As can be seen in picture I seamed the bottom corner, and we tuck it for a more finished look. I do plan to also modify the flap that hangs down at the head of the mattress so that this cover can actually be used as a cover when sleeping in the bed. Do not need this long flap at the head. I will point out that this cover would not work with our daybed unless modified in this way there is a gap where the side and front flaps hang down and the corner of the mattress is exposed. But modified this works well. I’m a sewer and it sure beat making one from scratch or paying for a custom made one.

I was very impressed with the quality of this daybed combo. I was hesitant to buy because I was looking for cotton rather than polyester fabric. But, the quality of the polyester is nice and it has cotton batting. It fits well and has nicely bound seams making it easy to put on the bed. The solid side (tan/beige) is a little pinkish for my room, however it’s reversible and the stripes are much more neutral. I have not washed but I think it will wash nicely.I would recommend if you’re looking for a quality mid-priced day bed 6 piece set

Loved this daybed cover but didnt like the skirt so I removed it.

I love this so much. I thought it was a different color blue from the photo and it's actually like navy blue. But that's okay because I love it and it's perfect in the back center. I do have a blue body pillow that I bought at Walmart and on each corner in the back. There's a navy blue throw pillow on each side that I bought at Ocean State Job lot. The rest is what came with it. I bought new pillows for the shams. The little throw pillow is on the small side and not very fluffy but it's okay. It's just for decoration but it's very pretty. It's in my living room as a couch and it's where everybody wants to sit.
