Ok 1st of all it does run my Kobalt lawn mower without an issue. Sadly it doesn’t work when inserted into my weed eater or the leaf blower. It stops after 5 seconds and you have to release the trigger and it will start again. Over and over again. I’m guessing maybe it has an over current sensor that kicks in on those devices I don’t really know. If your buying for a leaf blower or weed eater look somewhere else. Updated review :The manufacturer did reach out and wanted to correct the situation and sent me a new battery. The new battery is flawless and now works in all my devices. It’s great to see a company who backs their products and stands behind them. I highly recommend.

My son needed this battery pack so he could mow our lawn without recharging. This seems to have an equivalent battery life as the original Kobalt 40V 6Ah battery, but much less expensive. We've only gone through three discharge-recharge cycles, but so far, so good. The only difference is that this battery does not show the charge level while charging. That is not a big deal, since we just pop them in the charger and leave them. Charge time is comparable, I think. I hope it lasts as long as the Kobalt, but since we bought them both at the same time, we will know if it is really a good value over the long haul. ** Update 5/30/2024 ** One year in and it still works great, estimating about 30 charge/discharge cycles thus far. We need about 2.5 batteries worth of charge to mow, trim, and blow. This is holding it's own compared to the Kobalt batteries.

Would not hold a charge. I charged it fully, used if for a few minutes and put it away. Next day I tried to use it, the battery was dead. Fully charged it again. Same thing happened, used it for only a short period and the battery was dead the next day.

I have purchased 2 Dsanke 5aH batteries for my EGO equipment over the past couple of years and have been very satisfied with their performance in my chain saws and weedwacker. So when the Kobalt lawnmower at my church needed an extra battery, I decided to give Dsanke's 4aH battery a try and, once again, I have been very happy with its performance. The batteries (in both brands of equipment) have performed, in my opinion, every bit as good as my factory batteries. If you're looking for an economical after-market battery for your home equipment needs, I would recommend giving Dsanke a try.

It's a good replacement for the Kobalt KB 240-06 model battery. It is working fine for my old KHB 300 leaf blower. However, it is much heavier than the original battery. I'd say it's about 30-40% heavier and you can feel it using the equipment.

So far I’m happy as the last one I bought did not work with the Kobalt 40v mower I have. This one came in low on charge. Charged it up with no issues and the mower fired right up. Now just need to see how long I get on runtime.

Worked as it should and a great price.

I got this battery for my lawn mower, after I managed to do something really stupid, and destroy the original one. With this one being a 6 amp battery, I figured I would get a little more mowing out of it than the original 5 amp battery. However, it feels like I'm getting more than I expected. (Not so much more that I don't have to take the occasional break from mowing to recharge the battery. I have a pretty big lawn, and one charge is definitely not going to do it.) As an added bonus, I feel this battery charges faster than the original battery did. I can't confirm that - but it just seems like it does. I never timed the full charging cycle for the original battery to compare to this one. If you're contemplating this battery, don't hesitate. I'm thinking about getting a second one. I will still have to take at least one break for recharging. It's a pretty big lawn.
