Great handheld that brings back lots of nostalgia and fun memories.
I actually bought a number of these from another retailer to give away as gifts. They are fantastic and really bring back the nostalgia of retro gaming! Some games may not run correctly or some may not run at all. I installed the Miyoo CFW on mine which really helps to increase better performance. You'll have to Google or check YouTube on how to update the device with a CFW. There are many guides and videos that may make it feel challenging, but stick with it and you'll have pocket size system that plays nearly every system up to the PS1. It does struggle to play some titles that may be graphic intensive or contains a lot of cut scenes. Still worth it since you a ton of emulators and roms to choose from. One drawback are the bubbles at the very top of the screen. I have a feeling these will only grow as you play longer sessions or when it gets hot. A YouTuber named Retro Game Corps shows how to remove th little plastic screen protector inside the screen, but I haven't tried it yet since the screen is fine for right now. The unit uses a USB Type C charger and it charges at roughly 2 to 2.5 hours if not faster. I don't know if there's a wattage limit to the charger, but I used the QC3.0 at 18w and it charged perfectly. These units are selling fast and I was lucky to put in my order in early December.Go ahead and pull the trigger on the PowKiddy V90 handheld. It's leagues better than other handhelds at this price. I paid roughly $47, but you can find them cheaper from many places. Also, I got a free memory card full of stiff to get me started (if you know what I mean :-). Be sure to buy a higher quality microSD card to transfer all stuff in the provided memory card. Mainly all folders in the drive called "main" which contains the emus/roms. For some reason, I could not do full clone of the memory card as the device didn't recognize. That's why I went with the Miyoo CFW and never looked back. Alright, I better get back to gaming...I mean, reading. Enjoy folks!

This is pure nostalgia!
This thing has the form factor of a Gameboy Advance SP, and works exactly as advertised. There's a bit more to it than the SP, you don't load a cartridge in, you pick from a menu of emulators and then enjoy! It's a sturdy little box, has nice screen, controls (more buttons than an SP, but that's fine, it can play original PlayStation games!) and and speakers. Battery life is similar to the original SP as well, so no real complaints. It's easy to add any games you feel they missed by navigating to the ROMS directory on the included memory card and putting them in the appropriate sub folder. You may want to check the FC (Famicon is the Japanese name for the NES) folder and rename some of the files from .NES to .nes... the uppercase file extensions aren't able to be read by the emulator. Easily fixed! The Sega Genesis emulator needs a little tweaking to get the C button to register... but they included Shadowrun, THE NO 1 REASON TO PLAY SEGA GENESIS, so I can't be mad.Overall, this is your 90's video game childhood in a neat form factor, cannot recommend enough!

Worth the price
I usually go for the higher end devices, but after a new custom firmware came out for this little guy I heard it was worth the price. I was amazed for what this could play. Atari2600 to Neo Geo with the Miyoo Custom firmware all ran pretty dang good. Only system that had slowdown was the Snes sadly but for the amount of systems that it can run I feel this was a great deal. The hardware isn't too shabby either. The SP is tried and true and this feels like a cheaper version of it. It has a nice screen, battery life is decent at 3-6 hours depending on brightness, and the buttons while a little mushy still play games great to a point. That point being fighting games. The dpad is a little shallow and it's tough getting those fireballs off but platformers are fantastic. Contra was great. No false diags.Overall you'll be hard pressed to find a cheaper handheld with the kind of quality you get here. Just make sure to get a better sd card and upgrade the firmware for the best experience. They sell cheap batteries for this too and it's easy to swap them out. Great feature.Pros-Great ScreenPrice for amount of games you can playButtonsEasy to upgrade battery and firmwarePocket friendly with easy screen protection due to clam shellCons-Stock software is outdatedDpad is shallow and not good for fighters

Ugh…
I guess I’ll start off with the pros:After watching some review videos before buying this handheld, one of the main takeaways from all the reviewers was how cheap the handheld felt. Hearing this, I expected this thing to be super junkie. However, it actually feels better than I expected it to for $50.I was also shocked by how large the game lists were. I only looked at the GBA & Nintendo game lists, and both were quite large. Now comes the negatives. For starters; I’m pretty sure I got was used copy. The charging cable that came with it was poorly wrapped/bundled. The handheld also had some small scratches on the top part of the clamshell, as well as a large dark square mark that looked like a sticker may have been there at one point. The stock os was also very sluggish. Again, i wasn’t expecting anything amazing, but the os operated VERY slowly compared to the stock os that I saw in review videos.Lastly, and the biggest issue that I ran into is, the handheld stopped working within 20 minutes after turning it on. It turned off on me mid-gameplay. I automatically thought that it just needed charged. I charged it for several hours, and nothing. It won’t turn back on.I ordered a replacement unit to see if I have better luck with that one.

compact and cheap, but there’s a lot to it
I’m really satisfied with the amount of games this device comes with. One thing i really encourage is upgrading the firmware as it will run much better.I’m new to emulators but i also figured out how to add additional ROMS/games and fan made games. It’s great! The only downside is that my device came with a dead pixel. It doesn’t bother me enough though to warrant any kind of exchange or whatever. It’s a 50 dollar device loaded with nostalgia. If anything it’s made me look into handheld devices and i think i’ll look at something higher end next.
