For those who enjoy smoking the good stuff this lighter is seriously perfect. It can fit into pretty much any bowl and get down really deep. I used to get so annoyed smoking outside when the wind was really bad. I could never light the bowl because the flame kept going out. With this new lighter I don’t have that problem anymore. I can smoke with ease and the prongs make it so I can choose what gets lit. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and recommend it!

I got this lighter for events when we have a number of cigar smokers so that we could light a number of cigars in short order (like one would use a butane lighter). On the plus side, it works pretty easily - if you keep the cigar close and puff on it while lighting, you'll get a clean, even light and the purists won't need to worry about butane messing up their flavor. On the BIG negative side, though, is that the battery overheats during frequent use and really effects the performance. At a big event, we were trying to light about 10 cigars, and it gave out on the third. Too hot to hold and the arcs were heavily impacted. After cooling down, it worked again. So - it's just fine if you are lighting one - two cigars. If you have a big event, though, you may wish to have matches or a butane lighter handy.

1 star means it didn't work when i got it.2 star means it worked, but barely and/or broke after use.3 star means it worked as advertised but was put together poorly, or has obvious flaws.4 star means good product, works as advertised, little room if any for improvement.5 star means it was so good, i'm recommending it to friends as we speak.This is almost a 2 star. It works, as advertised, but it's very cheap materials that i'm pretty sure is going to break in my pocket during normal use. And i'm sure poor material choice is not covered under 'normal wear and tear'The device works though, excellently with full charge. There is even a safety switch at the bottom.I will break this, i'm sure of it. If it happens in the next few weeks i will change my review. If it continues to last those weeks, i will also update.It does work though. Stuff burns when you press the end to it.

But what a month that was. Freedom from plastic lighters, matches and cigarette papers. We used that lighter continuously, daily, just as the pot harvest was beginning, to light bowl after bowl, so maybe our precious lighter's demise was our fault. I'm not sure enough to demand a replacement and we're buying another. Here are the problems we encountered almost immediately. The power cord was defective. No problem, we used the one from our phone which was way better quality. The electrodes needed constant cleaning and never could be brought to their original fire power. The device did not come with cleaning tips but we figured that one out to some degree. Finally, and this was the end sadly, the internal charging stopped functioning, I think because the connection failed. The positive is that for the price this device saved so many lighters, matches and cigarette papers that it probably would pay for itself in just a few months. Actually, I can't be without this type of lighter.

It’s dope and does what ya want however the bearings or rather small screws that hold the flip top in place that cover the arc seem like they could get loose at some point but nothing too bad all in all it’s what i am looking for in a rechargeable plasma arc lighter the thing is basically those plasma lamps in lighter form makes this crazy high pitch sound when ignited almost looks like a taser has a nice little “it’s lit” decal towards the bottom looks good ya never know with these rechargeable technologies if they will last longer than a year but it’s better than looking for my bic lighter and it actually works the plasma arc does a decent job of igniting herb both in bowl or pre roll form so i imagine it will work on most anything that needs some fire. The arc and plasma do a good job of almost reaching out to whatever it’s igniting because again it’s plasma arc but try not to burn the arcs themselves via putting it too close to what’s being lit they won’t get damaged or blocked up but they will loose that out of package shine it has a nice on and off button and recharge times are looking good with more than enough fuel still on my first full charge and have not needed to recharge it yet just be sure to keep it off when not using it.

I bought this lighter specifically for lighting cigars while traveling. Apparently you cannot take butane canisters in your luggage on flights. Last summer I had to rely on Bic lighters to light full sized cigars and it was a challenge to light them properly and maintain an even burn. I just received the triple arc ligher, and put it to the test. It is not as fast as a butane torch, but with some care to rotate the cigar, lighting the edges and then the center, it does a great job. When it comes to touching up a burn, it’s actually better than a torch, having surgical precision. I’m glad I found this and will be traveling with it this summer.

I bought another USB rechargeable lighter but was disappointed when it didn't work well on CG gars. When I saw this one and read its description, I was apprehensive. My apprehension was soon replaced with excitement. It works like a champ! A little big, about 1" x 3" , but fits easily in my pocket. Very cool looking arc, too. Suggestion: talk to Disney and get permission to make some that look like lightsabers!!!
