I was tempted by some cheaper options but glad I went with these based on reviews and hope I can add to the assurance that these relays are worthy fit for your project. First of all this is an actual 30amp relay!! The line/load wires are thicker gauge than the sense wires. Almost 10gauge (I married it up to 10 gauge and thought it was a bit lighter gauge but up to snuff!). Quality wires with thick insulation. Quality plastic. Rubber gaskets in the socket to marry up to the relay. You can tell the relay is engineered for a watertight fit into the socket. Soft potting material on the underside of the socket. Ample insulation on generous length of the wires. It's a good sized and quality product I'm not afraid to throw at the heaviest loads. One real benefit?! I usually install Amazon relays where I can access them because they don't usually have a long life. This relay is going to last. Working with it, feeling it in my hands, connecting and testing .... there's an unmistakable quality present. I like having that surety walking away from my projects. Recommended highly.

For my '38 truck restoration, I added an electric fuel pump and additional accessories and wanted them to properly be wired thru relays. These did the job. Since they are waterproof, it is harder to separate them once they are mounted. My only complaint is that they should have put the mounting assembly on the wiring end since a relay could go bad and to replace it, one has to remove the screw holding the relay which is awkward but hopefully they will last.
