NespressoAeroccino 4 Milk Frother

I've had some bad luck with frothers. The last two I bought lasted about a year. I only used them at most three times per week. I recently purchased another that I ended up returning after a couple of uses. After reviewing several sources, it was between this one and Breville. I chose this one because the other Nespresso models seem to get positive reviews. So far, so good. It makes the kind of foam I like, it's very quiet, and very quick. The only thing I wish it had was an alert to let you know it's done. If it dies, I'll update my review.

Does a good job of frothing whole and 2% milk for single serving of cappuccino.

Small footprint. Exceeds expectations. Four settings. Easy to clean. Magnetic stirrer is ergonomic.

Bought in March 2023. Worked great until it started burning milk in the bottom after every use about 2 months ago (despite cleaning and scrubbing the burned milk out of the bottom between every use). Two days ago it did not froth or heat the milk at all and all the lights started flashing in unison about 10 times before it shut off completely. I called customer support and spent 45 min on the phone with someone who said I was not cleaning the machine out properly between uses (I am), who said it must have been exposed to high heat because it sits a foot away from the stovetop (it has not ever been exposed to high heat from our stovetop! lol -- also... it goes in the dishwasher!), and ultimately said it must have been the frothing wick itself (which is perfectly clean and in working order as if it just came out of the box). Nespresso said I could buy a new wick on my own dollar + shipping. But if that came and also didn't work then I would be out that money and I am out of the 1-year warranty period so can never get a new machine replaced on them. I am not willing to throw them anymore money so this will just go in the garbage. Nothing is built to last anymore! My one suggestion is to NOT wash this in the dishwasher like they say you can! I bet handwashing might have extended the life a bit more. That's my guess anyway!

I didn’t know these milk frothing devices until a trip to Europe this summer, and really wish I would’ve known about them sooner. So much easier than steaming the milk with the espresso maker and better results. We’ve tried a few different models, and the Nespresso one is by far our favorite. The very minor downsides are that it really just makes enough for one cup of coffee at a time, and the fill lines on the inside are impossible to see. I suggest measuring the milk the first time you use it and using the frothing Wand as the measuring stick. It only has one temperature setting, but it seems to be the right level for our use. Very easy to clean, and while you can put it in the dishwasher, we just clean it by hand quickly. It’s not inexpensive, but it seems to be right in the middle of the price points for well reviewed devices like this, and we are happy we spent the money. See picture for what 4 ounces of one percent milk does. The foam stands up for more than a few minutes. We have not gotten great results with soy milk, but will probably try other non-dairy milks. The device is super quiet, you can’t even hear it running so you just have to notice when the light goes off.

This is an awesome product. We use it every morning for our coffee and really look forward to our morning coffee. I highly recommend this product and hope you enjoy as much as we have.

This is the second one I bought in the past few years. No matter how much I wash it and am careful, there is one section that always looses its non-stick section and eventually burns. In short, hardly long lasting quality that one expects after spending so much money.

This frother is the perfect accompaniment to my Nespresso CitiZ coffee machine. Now I can make the best coffee and the best froth. We do also have an expensive superautomatic espresso machine, but after buying that I discovered that you cannot use dark beans in it, hence the Citiz. So then my husband was making the froth for my cappuccino with the big machine, but it just wasn’t quite the quality foam I wanted. First I tried a cheaper frother which was so disappointing in every way. So then I got this Nespresso Aeroccino 4 and am thrilled. It makes rich foam, and it is perfectly hot. Throw in an espresso shot and I have a cappuccino that would rival any fancy coffee shop. I also love that this machine can be washed in the dishwasher. So glad I got this.
