I gave this as a gift so I can't measure it, but if I remember correctly is was about 10"X10"X1.5

I see it says it’s magnetic, is it a strong magnet? Like could I play on a road trip?

Absolutely! That’s what we did Chicago to NYC, then out to LA. No lost pieces.

Is this all real wood or is it just a wood base with a veneer overlay?

It looks like its all wood but the top of it may be a veneer. The box says its an inlay wood. If it helps you to know its a really beautiful piece but not that big. All the pieces are real carved wood. Im happy with my purchase
