This ribbon is mounted next to the American Legion ribbon. They are worn together over the left pocket of our uniform for the Posts 237/229 Honor Guard. We perform the military rituals (21 gun salute, flag folding, etc.) at veterans' funerals.

Fairly well made in the style of a military ribbon. Could even fit on a ribbon rack even though it is not an authorized military award on any uniform. But being a veteran I'd probably add it and simply tell everybody that it's not an award but rather a symbol of pride in what I accomplished. I'm trying at this time to decide where I want to put it. My favorite hat, or coat are likely places to put it. I was hoping to see stars on rthe blue field instead of just white thread woven into the ribbon to simulate stars. I guess I can't have everything on a woven thing.

Very professional and discretely "proud" sign honoring your service. I am a medical professional & am proud of my service but at work/routine day I don't want to feel like I am waving a "poster".. I respect those that choose to wear bigger signs & I do at times wear the cap/have car bummer sticker but this is a nice smaller less "loud" way I can honor my service in work/professional/less personal settings.

I bought this for my dad to put on my great grandfather’s picture and he absolutely couldn’t stop crying ❤️ I love it
