The picture and description indicate clearly that this is a set ( Top and bottom) for 2x6 stair rail. That's not what I received. Both brackets were the identical THERE WAS NO BOTTOM Bracket. I managed to improvise my installation as I wanted to complete my project. B the way you can purchase these at HD and Lowes for less

Used these for deck stairs railing. My angle was about 35 degrees, and the were a nice fit and matched the standard Deckorators brackets used on the straight railing portion. They do the job well, and it always better to have the consistency of using the brackets, including the steps. Glad I used them instead of toe-nailing.

Good product but for stair rail I liked the brackets with bottom end solid so if you notch the bottom of the wood rail it gets better support.

Made easy work on my deck repairs. Will buy again and recommend this supplier. 4 stars for color choices. Wish they were available in white but hey, I'll just paint them.
