UPDATE: Replacement arrived and it is excellent.
UPDATE:Customer representative contacted me and after providing all necessary pictures - they sent me a replacement. And OMG, I got a very nice product this time. It is not runny, consistency is smooth and even (no separation between oils and solids). I already started to use it and I like it very much: it is not greasy, easy to spread, no shiny or bright glossy skin. It blends well and does not make your skin look orange, and of course no white cast. You will look natural like you never applied the sun screen, which is what I was looking for.I am updating my reviews and stars.I do believe that they need to improve on a quality control over their batches.Oil is separate from solids. Can be easily used of anything what is squeaky in your house but not for the face. I keep it in the coldest part of my house so it should not have separated so badly. But if it separates on heat - then I am really concerned about it been called a sunscreen, when it meant to be exposed to sun and as a result to heat. If it separates on heat then your face is in danger of sun burns because oil when heated is good for cooking, so it will fry your skin.I am at the point of no return or ask for a refund, because I bought it as a backup. And I saw this oily mess when I opened it few days ago.First, I thought that maybe it suppose to be this way but their pictures show that it should have even consistency and look like a loose lotion, so definitely I got bad product.I tried to contact customer support at their official website few day ago and I still did not get any answers.Seeing how much people have the same issue, I guess it is better to stay away from this product.

Never again
Purchased a bottle. Finished using up what I had. Got to this and it was AWFUL!! Separated and was completely unusable. Contacted the company and they replaced the bottle with a new one. In the meantime I ordered another one bc of a sale on their website. Both bottles separated. Contacted the company and was told:Our best-selling Sun Serum is incredibly important to us and we want to make sure our customers have the best possible experience. We had a manufacturing issue with the product which caused liquidification issues. The runny product is still the full SPF coverage, just a thinner texture (less creamy!) But good news, we just received fresh inventory that is the original creamy texture our customers know and love.Because this has been an ongoing issue and we've had to replace or scrap so many bottles (not only on our site but at our retail partners like Ulta and Target) we're only offering 1 replacement and shipping is not covered. As a small, bootstrapped biz this has definitely been a huge financial hit for us. Thankfully most of our loyal customers have been more than understanding while we've worked through it.So, I’m out the money and a bottle of sunscreen after all the aggravation. Will never purchase this sunscreen again or any of their products due to money wasted.

Fixing separation & spreading
I love this product! The big problem I had with it, as most people do, is separation. You can shake it like mad, and sometimes it will re-homogenize, but there are times when you can shake it forever and it just won’t do it.In the last such incident, I shook it like mad for several minutes, and could not get it to homogenize. I tried putting it on a vibrating sander, I tried attaching it to a generator engine to shake it up with its vibration, I set it a top a diesel truck engine that vibrates quite a bit, and it still would not re- homogenize. Finally, I taped it to a reciprocating saw and ran the saw for about two minutes, and to my pleasant surprise, the liquid homogenized beautifully into a very thick creamy sunblock.I just re-ordered two more bottles, and I’m happy to go through this exercise if it’s separates, simply because I love the product so much !To spread it easiest, I first apply a very thin layer of coconut oil to my face, then I apply the R&R Sun Serum. Perfect every time!Should I have to do all this for the price I’m paying? No!Will I continue to do the work? Absolutely yes!

I'm not crazy about this one
Bought this after seeing Angie on YouTube her channel is Hot & Flashy rave over it. She tried a ton of sunscreens and this ended up her favorite. My dermatologist said I have to use mineral sunscreen and so I'm on the hunt for one. This one does have a smell. I can't quite put my finger on it--reminds me of PlayDoh. It is tinted, it is very liquid. I'm still using a moisturizer under it and by the end of the day, my skin feels dry. I've put primer and foundation over it, don't think the results are anything great. If you have a lot of dark spots or hyper pigmentation or redness, this is not going to do much for covering any of it up. It's not a foundation so that makes sense. I don't think my skin looks any better with it on. It has not caused breakouts or dry patches or irritation. I don't think I will repurchase. If you are young or have already glowing and even skin, this would be great for you. It's just not quite what I'm looking for.

Not for oily skin!
This is definitely a different sort of sunscreen. The consistency is very runny, which I dont mind at all. It applies well. I didn’t notice any real smell at all. However, please note, it is very, very, very, very greasy-looking! You look like you are wearing oil on your face and there is no way to tone that oil look down. Makeup does not go over it well at all and again, again again, without makeup it looks like you are wearing olive oil or coconut oil or something similar on your face! I am not exaggerating. I am shocked because I bought it based upon Angie Hot and Flashy and it seemed to work well for her. I cannot recommend this product at all for anyone with oily skin or anyone who doesnt want a strong shine when wearing sunscreen. My daughter has dry skin and tried it and it was also very greasy-looking on her face. She didnt try to put makeup over it. I did use a lot to ensure proper coverage and my nose still got sunburned and my cheeks were just a bit red. .
