Pro ASP.NET 4.5 in C# Fifth Edition

Excellent book for learning and for reference. This book helped me to learn and solidify C# concepts and features. There are lengthy explanations of C# features which help me grasp a full understanding of the C# features. I do not know if I would have passed the Microsoft C# certification exam without this book and the C# Illustrated book by Daniel Solis. You have to search for resources to learn and prepare for the exam and I purchased this book and it resulted in a great purchase. This author knows how the C# language interacts with the .NET Framework.

HIGHLY IRATE! You click on the table of contents link and you get pulled to some weird off-book/off-site link!I contacted amazon and they gave a "few things to try." I am going to try to "chat" with them and see if they can resolve the issue!Right now I am PISSED OFF!Append:The Amazon rep was nice to help me and we tried a bunch of things. Same issue.I will return the digital version and get the paperback version.

I am a web developer in C# and I'm still learning. I like the way this book is organized. Clear examples and codes amazingly work.

I don't usually like giving negative feedback for books, because you'll always find something useful on them.I bought this book after using this e-book version and read it on my 23 inches computer screen. The book has almost all the information that you may need to know about ASP.NET 4.5. The reason I gave the feedback is because of the way the publisher typed the texts. The texts look exactly as what you would see in a manual that came with an item. There's no spaces at all between the lines, and the most of the paragraphs are huge. I thought it was because the author was trying to cover everything in fewer pages, but after I bought 2 other books from the same publishers, I notice all of them are the same, even a smaller Web API book with less than 100 pages.Please Apress, make your books more readable.

The book and the kindle app are great. I didn't have any problem.I will recommend this book and app.

Learned something new. That is all I wanted.

Don't waste your time or money on the Kindle version. The links don't work, and the code examples are unreadable.
