I like that Progestelle is so easy to apply, there are no fragrances or suspect ingredients, and the information that comes with the oil is very thorough. This is my first cycle taking the oil while eliminating xenoestrogens completely (to my ability) and adding iodine+magnesium+selenium+ other targeted supplements. I can tell my energy is better (haven't had a fatigue day in 2 weeks), and so far it seems like my irregular cycle is recallibrating. I am trying to resolve lifelong symptoms of PMS, painfully heavy bleeding, fatigue, and a recent diagnosis of uterine fibroids and adenomyosis. Clearly I have been estrogen dominant for a long time. So far the information has been very valuable and the product easy to use.Other natural progesterone products contain some herbs and fragrances that may render the progesterone ineffective, so I believe the oil is the most efficient and fully useful method of transdermal dosing. Please do not ignore the literature that accompanies the product even if you think you know all of that stuff already, or if it all seems overwhelming. There were some things I found very helpful and if you are battling estrogen dominance, and are very sensitive, there might be the "key" to help your body balance hidden in there somewhere, and it might be as simple as changing your laundry detergent or stop brushing your teeth with mint toothpaste. Sounds silly, but my symptoms didn't start receding til xenoestrogens were out of my system to this extent. And I have used "natural" products forever. I switched to soap nuts for laundry, unscented castille soap for shower and shampoo, only avocado oil for moisturizer for face and body. It's very minimal even for me, but it's cheaper and once I realized that my skin was absorbing 100% of what it came into contact with, it made sense to make the changes. I recommend this product, along with its booklet, and will update with progress as my health (hopefully!) improves.UPDATE : after 3 months of using Progestelle as directed, along with iodine and avoiding xenestrogens, my follow up ultrasound revealed my uterus completely free of both fibroids and adenomyosis. Although I am still grappling with somewhat irregular (in timing only) periods, I no longer bleed heavily. I have reintroduced some beauty products back into my life, and although I try to make sure they don't contain antagonistic substances, I sometimes make concessions (like Shea butter in my deodorant and some herbs I enjoy the smell of), and I do think that is contributing to my varying cycle lengths. However, I feel LEAGUES better now : no more anxious, sleepless, sweaty nights; no more hemorrhaging during periods. Breasts aren't painful and no more headaches. Mood is much more positive. Progestelle has been amazing for me, along with the literature and support I have received from Dr. Yee. I recommend it to every perimenopausal friend I have!

After reading about estrogen dominance and xeno and phyto estrogens, I concluded that my wife may have an issue with estrogen/progesterone balance. After using 2 dropperfuls per day for a week, she noticed a significant improvement in her mood.I read the included booklet, which suggests a very extreme avoidance of any plant or man-made chemical that contains estrogen-like substances, which is in about 95% of consumer products. We replaced some of our household/personal products, but did not go all the way becuase of inconvenience and cost. Some of the alternative estrogen free products available on the market are 4x the cost.From the research I have done, some people are much more sensitive to products containing estrogen. The booklet is very strict because it tries to encompass all people's problems. That's why I did not follow it 100%. For instance, it says to avoid aloe, a product contained in a large amount of personal products: lotions/makeup. There are some websites that suggest aloe could help people with certain types of cancers. The booklet says to avoid it all the time. So make sure to do your research to take into account your personal situation.Overall, because the product had a good effect, I feel it is a good quality.In the past, my wife's postpartum depression went away when she stopped nursing our baby, around one-year-old. When my wife stopped taking the progesterone oil, her symptoms returned. So, this suggests that it is a temporary fix. And is not healing her completely. But, it is still worth it because she feels significantly better and can function normally.The booklet claims you will never get better if you don't completely avoid estrogen-like products, even natural plant-based estrogens. I'm not sure if that's true, because initially we did not change our personal products, and she used the oil and saw improvement. And, when she stopped the oil, her symptoms got worse, indicating she just needs more progesterone.More scientific studies are needed on Xeno and Phyto estrogens. But overall I am happy with the knowledge that I learned from the booklet and relief my wife has experienced from the product.

I just received my order, and have to say, that I am very impressed with the packaging and informational pamphlet it came with...I wasn't expecting all this. The oil doesn't have any color or scent. The brand that Ihave been using is very thick and dark yellow. I'll update in a few months after using it.

I love this progesterone oul because there are ZERO additives that can interfere with absorption. Please read the entire insert because there are many foods and topical lotions that can interfere with absorption and cause issues (zenos)Its amazing and really helps me. Every cell is bathed in progesterone it is a very important element for total health for men and women.
