Mighty Thor!
Been waiting for a movie with these character's and it didn't disapoint. Should have been more serious though...the humor that worked so well in ragnarok and end game is starting to wear thin. Also I feel like for the namesake (Might Thor) it should have been done more justice by being more serious. Some heavy lore and things happening in this movie (just like Ragnarok) and it feels like a wasted oppurtunity. 9/10 because of that (probably should have been less for some of the very poorly timed humor).I wouldn't miss this one - really looking forward to the MCU impact this film could have.

If anything I could say this is a long time coming for me but I haven't seen the film yet
The film has extremely bad reputation though there is still some fans of it despite it. It makes sense but from what I'm hearing even I'm not a fan of such a direction but they did hire the man to direct this film to stay the tone so it is what it is. Whatever May hold with me watching this film I'm hoping that it won't annoy me as much but having it within my MCU collection isn't all bad.

A Very Good Film
This Marvel film was Four Stars. I liked it, but I did not love it. The movie has cameos galore, and great acting and perhaps the best villain portrayal that I've ever seen in a Marvel film, played by the great Christian Bale. Unfortunately much of this film is off the mark. Seeing Jane Foster die was saddening. Knowing that Heimgar died was also sad.Look closely for the cameo of a famous actor who plays a role within a role in the film and was a Bourn thespian. When I saw this in the theaters I remember one of the guys in front of me lean over to his buddy to tell him who and what he recognized as the actor playing a role within another role.I'm the 11791st person to review this very good film. I recommend it, I just don't think it is better than or even close to the level of the first two Thor films, and possibly the third. September 5, 2024.A. Nathaniel Wallace, Jr.

Product great, movie not so much
Ok, this is a review of the Amazon purchase and product so I'll say I was pleased with Amazon's fast shipping and the Blu-ray is in perfect condition. Now, as to the movie itself... I hated it! I like Marvel's use of a bit of comedy in all its movies. For the most part it enhances character development and makes the film more enjoyable. BUT in this case the humor went too far and to me it made Thor look like a big DUMB muscled blonde! What happened to Thor the super hero, the "God of Thunder" as he was portrayed in the first two Thor films, as well as the first three Avengers films. But starting with Ragnarok, and continuing to a greater (and disgusting) degree in Love and Thunder) he might as well be a California Beach Bum!This is NOT the Thor I grew up with in Marvel comics and not the Thor I want to see on the big screen. C'mon Marvel, you have taken Thor down the wrong road. Let's turn this truck around before it runs Thor over again and again to his REAL fans and I'll add that my reference to growing up with the super hero Thor goes back to the late 60's and through much of the 70's. So yeah, I'm "old school" and damn proud of it!!
