Great rotatable design -- why don't others do it also?
Very clever design. I'm surprised so many other competitors, including established big-name brands, haven't thought of designing such a useful product. Many peripherals, like your printer, external drives, etc. you leave plugged in long-term, so you don't want the wires facing forward and laying all over your desk. So it makes complete sense to have some ports facing back, to get the wires out your way, and have other ports facing forward, so you can access them easily with devices you need to plug in and remove, such as a camera. If you like these intelligent concepts, then this is the hub for you. My only recommendation to the manufacturer would be to put some sticky rubber feet on the device (on all sides, since it can be flipped over) because it's so light, it tends to slide around easily. From a functional perspective, though, this hub has it all.

Portable Hard Drives constantly disconnect. Wouldn't buy again.
I plugged this thing earlier and plugged 2 portable hard drives into it. They consistently disconnect and then reconnect. Not only does this make it useless for hard drives, but is also a great way to damage them since they disconnect abruptly without safely being ejected. What is the point of a 3.0 usb that can't even handle a USB 3.0 device? At first I thought maybe it was the port I plugged into. So I plugged into another high speed port...same issue. I disconnected 1 of the hard drives...thought that fixed it...wrong. A half hour later it was doing the same thing. Now everything is plugged back into their old ports. Guess I'll use this thing for peripherals, because data transfer obviously won't be reliable.

Consistently disconnects for hard drives
Doesn't work well for large file transfers. Disks consistently disconnect, even though I've tried multiple hard drives. I'm currently using it as a peripherals hub, which works fine, but the quality is pretty disappointing when you can't use it with hard drives.

Amazing
I got this less than half price of a non powered hub. Overall plastic quality is not great but it works fine and idea of rotating half helps a lot. I am using this with my NAS to connect multiple USB drives and I do not fine any issue with performance.

Very handy for your USB devices!
This has really come in handy at my work desk. It works great. The blue lights come on when the port is being used which is a nice visual. I would recommend this.
