Everything you would want in a bushcraft knife. I prefer stainless since I live in a humid climate. But....... I had to make a few changes, first I put a O ring over the ferro rod so ot won't fall out. Second I change the blade, I sharpened it on a 20 degree angle which is closer to a scandi grind and also flattened the spine to a sharp 90 degree to work great for a ferro rod. Now it is a great knife.

EKA apparently has changed the type of sheath. It is a leather sheath now. They do not offer the other with the ferro rod and sharpener. I asked the seller to update the ad.

This is a very good knife. The weight and balance is excellent. The G10 grips and the sheath, with drainage hole, with a stainless steel blade makes for great weather resistance. The fire rod gives hot sparks when struck. The thickness of the blade and the fact that it is full tang makes it good for batoning. This is an excellent choice for a bush craft or survival knife. It comes quite sharp, just not as sharp as my Helle knives. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. I would say it is a solid 4 1/2. Oh, it has a 10 year warranty as well. This knife will make a dependable companion for any hiker, camper or hunter.

Was interesting in purchaseing, but steared clear because advertising says scandi-grind...pictures clearly show secondary bevel. This is NOT a scandigrind. No reason to get this when you can have a Helle GT for 30$$ more.

Tolles Messer, Preis Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Dafür bekommt man sonst meist nur noch Messer aus PRC. Was gefällt mir? Der Griff liegt sehr gut in der Hand und ist sehr griffig, der rutscht nicht aus der Hand. Die Klinge aus Schwedenstahl ist sehr scharf, robust und schneidfreudig.Die Scheide aus Kydex ist auch gut verarbeitet und sichert das Messer einwandfrei. Den Firesteel/Schärfer muss man jedoch noch zusätzlich sichern, sonst verliert man den irgendwann.Dem Messer traue ich sehr viel zu...kaufempfehlung.
