Used as a letterbox lock
Seems to be holding up well. I was expecting it to be tough plastic as I didn’t read the full description but is actually a kind of cast metal. Really happy with it

Fixed my broken sashes in moments
I bought these to lock closed some double glazed windows that wouldn't close anymore and were too old to repair. I wasn't sure they'd hold just screwed into the PVC of the frames, but they do and they're working perfectly. We bought two more sets for when the other window mechanisms fail as it's looking like they will and there's nothing in the budget for new double glazing just now. A great stop gap. I think they'd also be great for their intended purpose - a security lock. They fit in minutes really easily. All fittings supplied.
