Lens Mount Adapter EF-EOS R for Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Canon EOS R RP R5 R6 R7 R10 Cameras

Does exactly what is says at a great price and allowed me to use one of my older macro lenses on a brand new camera body. autofocus and f stop work great. If your an amateur just having fun I don't see the reason to buy the real canon one.

I was gifted a Canon R7 for Christmas last year and got this so I wouldn't need to get all new lenses, or at least give me time until I could afford a proper lens. It works great. I usually use it for my standard 18-55mm lens. I gave it a shot with my Tamron 150-600mm but I forgot my tripod and I have shaky hands so I need to give it some more time but this adapter works great.

The YKEASU ef to ef lens adapter is an absolute work horse for the price you pay, it fits perfectly on the RF body with only slight resistance towards the locked in position for lenses. It seamlessly identifies my EF 18-135mm lens and focuses and zooms in and out perfectly, while I haven’t tried it in any intense situations to test its weather sealed abilities I will update when I do try it out. There’s not play in the adapter which I know is a common complaint when it comes to other ef to RF adapters but this stays perfectly in place with no play. The only complaint i have which isn’t a major one is the lack of a thread adapter or some kind of mount to allow a tripod to thread into the bottom like other adapters do, but honestly it’s not a huge thing since I mainly shoot by hand but it would be nice to see them implement that into another version if they decide to do one. But I’m all honesty This adapter is a great alternative to the canon one and makes it an essential item in photographers tool kits.

This is exactly as advertised. It fits the camera well and functions as stated. I would recommend this adapter to others.

It works good on my R7 to attach an older 24mm E lens fit on camera smooth and easy but lens seamed a little ruff and tight. But at a third the cost of the name brand it’s not bad.

This works perfectly to enable using my Canon and Sigma EF mount series lenses on my new Canon R50 V camera with the new R mount. This product is less than 1/4 the price of the Canon branded version (model EF-EOS R) when buying from Amazon and is solid and allows full function identical to the Canon product. It adds hardly any weight or length to the camera plus lens and has no batteries or moving parts to wear out. Full Autofocus and Image Stabilization functionality is retained.

I strongly recommend this for anyone who gets a newer Canon SLR that also has some older EF lenses. I saved so much money not getting the name brand adaptor. This component works just as well and allows me to use many more lenses than the single lens included when I bought the camera body.

Awesome adapter, works as advertised, have been using on my second camera body to use a wider range of lenses. This thing gets tons of use in my camera bag and after more than a year of use I can say it’s durable as well.

The adapter looks pretty good. I just received the package and mounted the adapter on Canon R8, it fits perfectly. I also recorded a couple of video clips and took some photographs, autofocus works perfectly fine. I would say the autofocus works better with this adapter + Canon EF 50mm 1.8 compared to Canon RF 50mm 1.8 because I do own both EF and RF 50 mm lenses. Getting this adapter instead of the canon’s own adapter sounds like a good decision because canon’s adapter is selling at a much higher price.
