Having owned wall clocks for over 10 years, I was drawn to this VANGOLD Large Wall Clock for its gold-and-black color scheme. Installation was easy, and it's a definite improvement over my previous all-black clock. The included booklet with step-by-step instructions and the helpful YouTube video made everything simple. This is why I trust VANGOLD and have purchased five of their clocks. While I've replaced some attachments over time, I'm very happy with clocks that cost under $25 and last for years.

We really do like this clock it’s great! Here’s what we liked and didn’t like. So just like everyone says about them sticking on the wall and not coming off without paint following is pretty accurate. They are very STICKY. Make sure you place those exactly how you want before doing so! (I love that they are this sticky though) That being said the words that go inside the clock are not very sticky at all and peel off so easily and they are pretty cheap. I put them on and went upstairs for a minute, came back down to glance at the glory, and then they peeled themselves almost all the way off. I washed the walls as well and I made sure any dust was gone before placing the numbers and stickers. So I had to really rub and rub and rub to keep them down, and they peeled many times before they finally stuck. They look good once they are on but they are honestly very cheap and I wish they were a little bit better quality. They also have a very shiny surface so you get reflections on them, but you are paying for a very cheap clock here so don’t have high expectations. Other than the lettering, we honestly love this clock. The wife is happy with it so I’m happy👍🏻 It’s great to fill up awkward spaces that you don’t know what to do with too, and it’s massive enough to fill up a big wall as well. So I’ll take it as a win👌🏻 Worth it for sure so don’t even hesitate if you need a clock like this. Clocks are usually so overly priced too so this is worth every penny. Our expensive clock we had before didn’t get any compliments at all and not even a glance, now with this one everyone compliments it and looks at it until they find my mistakes placing the numbers😂 so that tells you a lot! It compliments the house super well and it would be great in a business/office space as well. Make sure to use the number placement tool because eyeballing it is no bueno. This tool is also kind of frustrating because it’s all folded and it doesn’t feel too accurate but it does the job. I will also say that the hands are not quite accurate with real time! They run a little bit behind, so I just put them like a couple minutes ahead so that it kept up with real time and it seems to be working fine. 👍🏻 For those people who said the hand numbers are fragile for when you press down and broke them or bent them it’s because they freaking did it wrong 😂 just like anything in life FORCING it doesn’t always work😂 9/10 you will ruin whatever it is you’re forcing. The hands fall down into their spots just fine, and the minute hand you barely have to put pressure on it. You have to push it just enough to where you can screw on the cap so it’s tight enough and the hands don’t fall off. Any negative reviews that I have seen on Amazon are typically just people who don’t get it and are negative Nancy’s in life in general. So everything is wrong in their mind even though it’s not. Especially with a great product that’s been massively purchased and has more good things said than bad. So don’t listen to the negative Nancy’s and freaking Todd’s. (Sorry not sorry) plus even if a product has simple issues just like the lettering that I don’t like, I can use my brain and make my own letters and be creative. Just have a good attitude with things and you’re set👌🏻. This was an easy project though! It took like 20 minutes once I realized how to properly do it. My home looks more like home now so hopefully this review helped 🤙🏻

This clock is worth every dollar it’s made of durable material and it adds that touch of elegance to my living room

Very cool clock

Purchased this and followed instructions exactly. Everything went fine with the install. Set the time and now I have finished this install. Then 18 hours after install the clock was three and a half hours slow. I removed the battery and checked it on a battery tester and it showed a full charge still. I got another new battery and tested it to make sure it was full charge also and then installed it into clock, set the correct time and put back up on wall. Then overnight the time was off again by a couple hours. So the issue is with the clock works itself. Now the dilemma is to send it back and I would have to tear everything off the wall and hope no damage will be done to my wallpaper and repackage it or can I get just the clock movement piece to replace the bad one so I don't have to take that risk. I will try for the latter and see if I can get a clock movement first. I contacted the company via email. They got back to me within a couple days and with my situation they said they would take care of it. I gave them my Amazon order number for the clock as requested. Then a couple days later they emailed me again and said just the clock motor will be sent to me and they apologized. A couple more days later I received the new clock motor and I assembled it and put on wall where the other one was. It has been a week and it runs and keeps perfect time. I am very, very happy with this wall clock and with the manufacturer. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again. I have recommended this to other family members that saw it on my wall. This company did everything right. Someone told me that it should have worked with the first one. Well anything that has moving parts can fail at any time. I have had expensive items fail and cheaper items fail. I don't usually give a review on Amazon but I thought this deserved one. Nowadays getting anyone to replace a defective item is like asking to pull their teeth. They stood bye their product and made things right with me and that in my book means everything. That's what we use to call service. Kudo's to them.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!! I've been wanting to change the look of my living room for quite a while. Just been holding onto old decorations and gotten comfortable with the look and feel and laziness ultimately took over. But I made the simple move to replace a poster with this clock and it's the start of something good!!! Thanks!!!

Die Uhr sieht beeindruckend aus, kann wahlweise vor einer hellen oder dunklen Wand befestigt werden. Man sollte aber viel Geduld und eine Wasserwaage bereithalten. Zwar ist eine Schablone als Hilfsmittel dabei, aber da ich Schlosser bin sehe ich leider jeden Millimeter und dadurch hat das perfekte Anbringen 1,5h gedauert. Jetzt wo es fertig ist bin ich aber sehr zufrieden und jeder Gast ist begeistert. Und bisher hat auch jeder einen weitaus höheren Kaufpreis getippt. Meinen Vorrednern kann ich mich aber nicht anschliessen. Wenn man alles nach Anleitung zusammenbaut funktioniert auch die Uhr. Und die geht erstaunlich genau (insofern man die Zahlen richtig geklebt hat kann man es auch genauso genau ablesen^^). Die Uhr macht übrigens leider genauso Geräusche wie jede andere handelsübliche Wanduhr. Würde diese Uhr beim Umzug definitiv wieder kaufen.
