Paint Can And Bottle Opener [Misc.]

This may seem like a silly thing to review, but a wide spade paint can opener can be such a handy tool. A typical paint can opener you might find for $1 at a typical home improvement store has such a small opening lever, that you will bend the lid in several places when you open the can.Having a wider spade lets you open a can a lot more gracefully without deforming it. You still have to open gently, but this allows you to keep a flat lid shape and close the lid much more securely to keep your paint sealed for longer.Several years ago I had one of these I got from a vendor for free at a big box store, and was quick to buy one now that I am painting my own home.

Best can opener for paint cans and another project I use them for!! They have a very wide & flatter lip than other paint can openers. It may not be worth the extra $$ for you, but if you don't like dented lids, this is the way to go. Plus, it opens bottles too!

Giving one star. Would give zero but system will not allow. Typed in extra wide paint can opener and this company was one that appeared. Ordered 3 because wanted extra wide openers. It wound up being regular size. The picture showing product was deceptive. It shows the item backwards which gives appearance of being wider than what it really is. It's a regular narrow paint can opener from the front view which is obvious once you receive the product. Moreover, they want to charge me return shipping and a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee is another scam. It doesnt cost anything to put the product back up on the shelf. Just another way to scam the consumer out o some money or deter sending back the item for partial refund. Dont trust this company. Don't do business with them.
