Works great and easy to set up!
I purchased this to keep my plants alive while on vacation. With a little pre-planning, it is super easy to set up, with plenty of materials to complete the set-up. I set it up 45 days ahead of time so that I could experiment on the amount of water for each cycle. It does put out a lot of water when it cycles, so I was able to do 1 minute, 2 times a day (I live in the high desert) and have enough water in a 5-gallon bucket for 7 large pots that will last for over 2 weeks. I did put it in a dry box since it's outside.

Great product, great customer support -- but watch out for defective units
This product is great for anyone who wants to water their plants consistently and automatically. I keep a small indoor garden at home but travel very often for work, and so I was looking for a way to make sure that my plants (peppers and vegetables) can survive 1-2 weeks without my attention. This DIY drip irrigation kit does the job nicely, but I would warn customers to watch out for quality control issues.First, the pros: (1) very easy to set up, (2) nice options for watering up to 99 seconds at a time, in time intervals ranging from every 1 hour to every 30 days. This covers many types of plants from water-intensive vegetables to cacti. (3) A good amount of piping and drip ends are included -- I use several drip ends for my larger plants, and fewer for my smaller plants.Cons: I would have given this product 5 stars, but unfortunately the first unit I received was defective -- it would only pump correctly sometimes -- and this inconsistency was a major flaw since reliability can mean the difference between healthy plants and dead plants after a long vacation.I'm giving this product 4 stars because customer service is responsive and eventually sent me a replacement product that looks like it's working (which makes me think my initial pump was defective). This product still looks like the best value for the money on Amazon, so I definitely recommend it, but I have to dock 1 star for the initial defective product.

Almost Effortless Plant Care
I recently got the Moistenland WIFI Automatic Plant Waterer for my indoor plants, and it's been a game changer. The setup process was really simple, and linking it to the Smart Life app was hassle-free. This compatibility extends to Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThing, and IFTTT for basic on/off control. But the true versatility is found in the Smart Life app, where I can tailor the watering schedules precisely, ranging from a brief second to a more extended 30-minute session, and plan several watering times throughout the day.One feature I particularly love is the watering log in the app. It keeps a record of all watering activities, planned or unplanned, ensuring I'm always in the loop about my plants' watering schedule. It's comforting to know they're being watered as intended. Plus, the low water level notification is a lifesaver, alerting me whenever the reservoir needs a refill. The waterer is also quite efficient, significantly reducing water usage compared to traditional methods, and it's energy-saving too. Just a note, it only connects to 2.4GHz WIFI, not 5G, so make sure your router settings are compatible. The app supports Android and iOS, provided they are updated to relatively recent versions. In short, the Moistenland WIFI Automatic Plant Waterer, in conjunction with the Smart Life app, is ideal for anyone looking to streamline their indoor plant care. It's made my plant maintenance much more convenient and less time-consuming.

SO Disappointed, Do Not Buy This Product!
I am so disappointed with this product. After reading all the positive reviews, I purchased two units right before going on vacation for 2.5 weeks. Setup was difficult; I have DIGG irrigation set up in my backyard and that setup was so much easier. The drippers are the problem for this product: they don't slide easily into the tubing and they can actually break fairly easily. After spending far too long setting up the system to water my orchids, catnip, and a few aloe plants I monitored the setup for a few days and adjusted the flow spacing and duration to what seemed reasonable. Then, feeling confident, I headed out for vacation. When I got back I found my three orchids floating in overflowing pots. The first orchid in the line (closest to the controller) had drowned and water had overflowed and damaged my floor and the second orchid was close to dead. The third one hadn't gotten as much water and so was in better condition... keep in mind that these plants were less than a foot apart, so it's not like the water had to be pushed through a ton of tubing.Meanwhile, my catnip plant, which was on a shelf a foot below the orchids, had died of thirst. I'd put two drippers into its pot to make sure it got more water than the orchids, but that was apparently wasted effort on my part. According to the product information, the pump should have been easily able to lift water the foot of height difference between the plants, but that was incorrect as well. Just to be sure, I had placed the pump/control unit in at a height in between the orchids and the catnip, but it didn't make a bit of difference in the end.I wish I'd known how useless this product really is; I didn't even open the second unit I bought and I'd have returned it for sure if my 30 days hadn't run out.If you're considering purchasing this product, don't waste your money. Not only am I out the cost of the product, but I now have to replace the plants it killed as well. Save yourself the money and trouble and buy a DIGG system with a pond water pump. You'll be much happier, the setup will be easier, and you won't come home to dead plants rotting in their pots.
