If you are using this with that Intex pool, It may not work with your pump. Mine had the GFCI that trips on power outage so every time the timer goes off it trips, the GFCI, which is a manual reset

I purchased this timer to turn on and off my outdoor pond lights after the in-line electric eye for my new lights failed after the first rain shower. I installed this and it worked perfectly. I like the remote so I can turn it on from my back patio and enjoy the fish swimming around and then reset it easily to the time I want it to turn on and off. I have had this about a month during several rain storms and it still works properly. If you need an outdoor timer that appears to be weather resistant, I would highly recommend giving this one a try.

I'm underwhelmed. I wanted a simple timer with this configuration because I figured there would be less to break. My original one arrived with a defect. The company was quick to replace it for me. The replacement has worked for less than a year (about 10 months) and has now failed. The timer function is no longer working. It does not keep time anymore and will not turn anything that is plugged in on or off at the time that is set. I bought this to replace one that had lasted nearly 10 years. So, obviously longevity of outdoor timers is possible, just not THIS timer. It's compact and easy to read, but it's useless if it doesn't work. I'd suggest saving your money and getting one that's built better.

Works as it should. Has to be unplugged and reset if power is lost but doing a good job so far
