I looked long and hard to find a hot roller set with a low/high temp control. My hair is thin so my scalp has been burned by other hot roller sets with no ability to adjust the temperature. I use this one on low all the time and it is perfect for my hair and scalp.

Rollers are A+. Very are to find a 2" barrel hot roller and with my thick hair, I was super excited. I read the reviews about the clips, so I ordered stronger ones along with these rollers. Even the GOOD clips are not enough to hold these rollers in. They need a specifically designed clip, which Conair spent absolutely NO EFFORT on when they made these rollers. They do not stay. Do not waste your time or money. I am pretty crafty... I gave myself the benefit of the doubt that I could find a way to make them stay because I wanted to love them! Nope. They're awkward and heavy and absolutely worthless as they fall out of your hair and do not do what they are intended to do AT ALL. The minute I bent over to pick up something in a lower draw several came rolling off my head and scattered all over the floor. Who designed this and got with a team of experts and said, "Oh this is good!" I mean really... who ? I wanna know. They went back as if you didn't gather that from this review. And that's saying something because I am not someone who returns a lot of things back to Amazon.

The clips are not those pictured, if you have long hair it does not hold.

My favorite curlers when I want my hair to have a lot of body. These do not give much of a curl but a ton of body to my hair. They are very gentle on the hair and nice quality curlers and a good price.

Clips are not as pictured. They are a mulit-prong clip. I have just ordered pin clips, because I know from other rollers that the claw style ones don't work well. It sounds like many other users have had the same experience with these kinds of clips.I am waiting for new clips to arrive and have not tried the actual rollers yet.

Clips = badThe clips shown in picture work great (two prong) the clips received with product do not work great and pop off your hair. (It’s as if they were tested without using hair on the roller ). I would return this product but i shipped them to a relatives house to keep there and use when I'm visiting a few times a year and could not juggle the return process during my recent stay. The curlers and unit are great and give you volume and for me smooth out frizzy hair to silky smooth hair that lasts a couple days. My hair is 3” past collar bone and they work well

Ya'll, just go ahead and buy them. If you have anything past shoulder length hair you should be good to go, shorter hair may search for something other than the XL/Jumbo size rollers.(My hair medium/long, around bra strap length) (Also, these are a pretty standard/bulky roller set, I'm not sure if I'll have enough room to pack them for my upcoming overseas trip... But I may adjust my outfits just to fit these in!I have hot rolled for years, and bought all kinds. Other conair hot roller sets, T3 hot roller set (plus additional rollers), ect ect. I REALLY love these, I think even more than my T3 set. I'm always looking for the next level in volume, being from Texas. I get compliments every time I hot roll my hair, and it's so quick! Pop them in, and begin my makeup. By the time I'm done with my makeup they are ready to be taken out!For the clips here's the hack: adjust and rotate the clips to the front part, rather than underneath the roll. For the rollers on top of your head, take large claw clips, and secure the side ends of the rollers on both sides of the roller, and you will be secure to continue on about your morning making coffee, finishing makeup, laundry, whatever. The rollers do heat. The clamps to hold the rollers are frail, so I ordered extra ones as suggested by the manufacturer in the packing. A few weeks later I got my check back in the mail, saying they no longer carried the clamps! I should have returned this product, but didn't have time to mess with it.
