Don't Bother
This chair is deceiving in that the manufacturer is called CleverMade. It causes a person to assume that assembly is simple. This couldn't be further from the truth. Assembly requires feeding two long rods through a series of wooden slats. As the rod goes through the slats, a curvature is introduced. With the second rod completely inserted, it is nearly impossible to attache the final nut to the rod's threads. I purchased two of these and stripped the second rod on both chairs. Don't bother.

Small but very comfortable
These chairs arrived quickly and were pretty easy to put together as long as you read the directions. The first one took a half hour. The second one took a bit longer because I had trouble getting the last bar to go through enough to put the nut on. They are very comfortable for my average to smallish women’s frame. Might be too small for larger people.

Tough to Assemble, But Nice
I’m an engineer who loves a project, but assembling this chair was not fun. It took me one hour and was somewhat frustrating. At the very end I over tightened one of the rods and snapped it. Luckily, I used a drill to deepen one of the holes and got it all to work. I’ve had the chair for a week and it’s comfortable and looks great.

Assembly is sooooo annoying!!
There’s definitely VERY LABOR INTENSIVE assembly required and it’s simply idiotic the way they designed the rods that basically hold the entire chair together. I’m the type that loves to put together furniture, but assembling these chairs angered me to no end.PRO TIP: before you start feeding it through the holes, bend the wire in an arc to mimic the shape of the wood slats/holes it needs to go through, otherwise you will want to throw the whole chair out the window or burn it in a fireThe wires and screws are too short, and the tools are so flimsy and cheap, which makes assembly a million times more difficult and frustrating, not to mention once it’s done, makes the chair super noisy and squeaky bc all the parts are rubbing against each other bc it’s so tightly put together.Folding is also really difficult, again bc of the wires being too short, so it’s not very flexible.Don’t even bother with reading the instructions, they’re totally useless. Just scan the QR code and watch the video…I didn’t realize this option until I was about to assemble the back to the seat and could not understand the instructions at all.Lastly, when sitting, you need to land at exactly the right angle towards the center where the back and seat meet or you will fall forward. The seat part is a lot smaller than I thought, and I’m 5’5”, 115 lbs!!! I honestly don’t see how this chair can support 250lbs or anyone taller than maybe 5’9”??!!

Stylish to look at but very hard to assemble and uncomfortable.
These chairs are for looks only in my opinion. I bought them for staging a property so they did they job for me, but they took hours to assemble, and are not withstanding the rain, etc. after a few months. I'd recommend only for looks and in a covered space.

Pleased
I like these a lot. I purchased 2, BUT they are Very hard to assemble and they are not the same size. One seats higher and the second one is lower to the ground. Perhaps a simple adjustment to the slots, but don’t want to risk taking it apart as they are so hard to assemble.
