Does the job
Needed to make Additions to my current cctv set up. Was easy to set and good value for money. Connecting was straight forward. I find reolink is a good quality system. With 36 channels it's got great functionality.

Works well
Pretty easy to setup. I don’t have cameras connected directly to it, but rather recording over the LAN. It works well and it’s good to have 24 hour recordings. Good value.

Much improved NVR
After having the odd issues with my 8 channel NVR, which I have had for years, I decided to buy a replacement. This one is much improved, especially with the fact it can handle camera firmware updates and its own updates. Added 2TB WD purple drive which I had From my old unit. The only thing it didn’t state on the description, is that this version doesn’t have PoE ports built in. Fortunately I had a spare 5 port netgear POE switch, and power for the other couple of cameras, but that could be a gotcha for those used to older versions that have this feature built in. Otherwise much better unit and much faster too. I use with a mix of HD and 4k cameras.

Good NVR for Reolink cameras
This is a really nice NVR, really easy to setup and use, playback function can be set to only show motion events, which helps to locate interesting events.Only works with Reolink cameras I believe. No HD supplied with this unit, but has capacity to fit 3 3.5" Drives

Very Disappointing.
First off the noise Unbearable to say the least. Ended up changing the fans for a couple of Noctuas, that quietened it down nicely. That said why can't Reolink install a decent fan from the off.Second but more importantly the whole thing is almost completely inoperable. It came with no documentation and you can't even find a manual for it online. After many hours of frustration managed to get it working to a degree.

Great Value - works very well
I replaced a previous Reolink unit with it only supported 8 cameras. This unit is missing the HDD but this is great since you can put your own drive in.Very easy to use and works very well with Reolink Cameras.

Good but for remote use beware of the user interface limitations
The problem is, there are several critical things that can only be done when connected to an HDMI monitor and, unless you want it in an office that's a problem. If you put it in a cupboard somewhere out of the way, it is not possible to reconfigure via the web interface or app. Quite a serious omission, to say the least. So, while very good in some cases it can not be recommended for remote use. More galling, the older interface did allow these things and why the new one still does not after 3 years is inexplicable.
