Quickload 0.065" Replacement Autofeed Spool for WORX String Trimmers (Compatible with WA0010), 12-Pack

Why, in this modern day and age, would someone opt to put a piece of strapping tape all around a tiny spool of weed line? Took me over 30 minutes to get one spool free of the tape; so much for “quick change and replace.” Also, I don’t know that the 3-ply line is as good as the single ply line that was originally on the weed whacker, but that strapping tape is the biggest complaint. Why? Especially when the spool is notched specifically to hold the stray end of the line. It made no sense and made what should have been an easy exchange an extremely frustrating and difficult process.

Works good But doesn’t cut the weeds down fast like original. 😎

Great value, but hard to initially remove string end before first install. I like the added tape to keep secure, but it is not necessary since string is hard to remove. When string is unwinding during use, it gets stuck on itself, therefore cannot automatically discharge. String seems to be crossed over itself. Not every roll like this, but have come across five so far out of eight spools. The cutting ability of string is fantastic when it is working. Thank you

These work great in my WORX trimmer/mower. The only reason I didn't give them a five star rating is because, at times, the cord twists itself up (when it's already been fed out). When this happens, I end up cutting off that section to get a straight section of cord again. (The twisted cord doesn't work as well.) This isn't a consistent problem, though, so I would buy these again.

I was tired of the “free for life” string from Worx where you pay outrageous shipping costs (for the size and weight of the spools), so I searched on Amazon and found this string. So far, so good, works as well if not better than Worx branded string, and costs less. Others have reported that the string sometimes sticks to itself require manual adjustments. I had that happen quite frequently with the Worx branded string, so that is not an issue for me. As a matter of fact, I think it happens less with this string.

Easy to install and use. Kind of pricey for the amount of string you get but each spool is pretty small. Much better than having to roll your own though.

I have used 2 of the spool lines so far and I must say they are better than the ones sent with the Worx trimmer. They are great for light trimming. I had to tr-thread the line only a few times. If you use as an edger and are next to walkway concrete etc. It's difficult to keep the trimmer straight and if you hit the concrete the line will break and you must re-threat. Good buy.

The weed eater I have uses these and they go fairly quickly. They don't have much of a line and I use up about 4 or 5 each spring and summer. If you are quick, you can pick them up at the local stores. Otherwise, if you miss the first part of spring, you miss an opportunity to buy them because they stay off the shelves. I decided to buy this multiple pack so I don't have to worry about trying to find them midway through summer.
