The media could not be loaded. My wife and I stumbled across this game by accident. We watched a lot of online reviews for it before buying the deluxe edition and giving it a shot. A week later we are returning the deluxe edition and already ordered the ultimate edition. After playing it a few times the first night it was delivered, we quickly decided this game would be one we really want to keep as pristine as possible for a very long time. It really is a simple game to understand but there are minor combinations that you can chain together. Most of the time you are going to be playing one card from your hand and following what it says at the bottom of the card if there is any text at all. There are no life points to track or energy or sanity which you find in larger games, but the simplicity and straight forward nature of doomlings is what sets it apart. Every game has been different between me and my wife. All the catastrophes do change the outcomes of the next round and only having one trait card in the entire deck make playing more challenging as well. What I am trying to say is neither me or my wife are going to have the same traits with the same effects each game which I turn makes all the games we have played very interesting and make us try to strategies what our next few moves would be before the end of the game, or world lol.Overall this is one of our top games for game nights with only owning it a few days. It is semi-quick fun and you can affect your partners hand and play area.If your on the fence about this game, give it a shot, you'll love it.

This game was a hit with my grandchildren and our family (kids ages 9 - 11 and adults). This is a card game and they wanted to read the catastrophy cards (and look at the art work) on the cards that weren't used at the end of the game the first time we played. The game has three stages that end with catastrophic events that effect everyone's hand. The points are similar to other games in that you lay certain cards from your hand in front of you. You can play cards that cause negative point in all other players hands at the end of the game. But there are twists and turns to the standard game, with the world stages, that make it more interesting and fun again.

I think there's a certain thing to be said these days about games that aren't too complicated and easy to learn, and it's a real testament to this game that the first time I learned to play it, I was drunk at a party and was still able to pick it right up and have an absolute blast. I knew I HAD to own this game, so the next day, in the light of sobriety I ordered it without hesitation. It is cute, fun, and as I mentioned, quite easy to learn. I love this game, and the deluxe bundle brings a few nice extra touches that polishes a game that didn't require any help to be enjoyed. 100% recommend.

I'm addicted to this game! It is so much fun! The mat with the cards and expanded pack helps give more variety, keeps me on track with each round, and has good art quality.

The game itself is super easy to learn and it is very fun for even just 2 players. The case (deluxe edition) comes with all the expansion packs. Inside the box, the base game and expansions are separated by a cardboard divider that cannot be moved. If you add the expansions to your game (which they are really fun so why wouldn't you?!) You will have to separate the expansions from the base game when you are done playing in order for the cards to fit back in the box. I Stull highly recommend the game, the box could just be a little bigger to help for the expansions without needing to separate after every play.

I'm (37) the mom of 4, ages 11-21 and we play a LOT of board and card games. This game is first off all reaaalllyyy pretty 😍 love that! Secondly...it's pretty fast paced so it doesn't get boring during other people's turns. The gameplay is familiar and easy to learn, but unique enough that we don't feel like we're playing a game we've played before. I love that the box has room for expansions, but also has placeholders so the cards aren't in their just loosey goosey. One feature I LOVE is the way the cards are set up for each game. It's done in such a way that you're not just remixing the same set of cards for each game, you actually play with new ones.We got 6 or 7 new games for Christmas, and Doomlings was the favorite for several of us. Definitely worth the purchase!

Absolutely love the Doomlings game! It's an easy to learn very fun game for friends and family. I've Introduce the game to quite a few people and everyone has enjoyed it immediately. Great artwork and very high quality cards. No two games play out the same way. Endlessly replayable, and the company has excellent customer support. I've purchased quite a few doomling products from the website and from Amazon and loved everything (Doomlings deluxe, playmats, doom shields, overlush boosters etc.)! Had one small issue, and Doomlings customer support was very quick to respond (a matter of hours) and corrected the issue above and beyond what I had hoped for. If you're looking for a fun, easy to play a game with your friends/family/kids, this is the game for you!
