Ideal for my active 11 year old. Really good battery life, brilliant phone, shame i didnt get this phone sooner as it would have saved me some money, as this is his 3rd phone as drops them or they get wet with from him playing football.

In terms of protection you can tell it can handle drops and knocks within reason. Good battery life too.However I find this phone frustrating to use, my god is it slow. Shop around before buying this, don't make my mistake. Every app is slow to use. Even after I've got rid of all unnecessary apps.

Robust and chunky just what a 15yr student is looking for and it games and makes calls to boot

If by rugged it means the screen cracks first time it is dropped then I wouldn't call it rugged, quite annoying actually as it was bought to use at work
