Great product for airline travel and camping! Smells great!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this because we were going to England and taking a 🚢 to various parts of the UK, like London, Liverpool, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. But, we also visited Ireland and Iceland (we got back just days after the volcano 🌋, but experienced a 4.5 earthquake at the airport)! So, with all of this travel, I didn’t want to lug around shampoo and risk it leaking in our luggage (and I’m not a fan of cruise line/hotel shampoo), so I found this wonderful product! There was a bit of a learning curve to using it, but they give you plenty! I still have over half the bottle and haven’t opened the refill pack! If you’re traveling, especially on an airline, I highly recommend it! And, since it’s not a liquid, you can carry it on without it counting towards your liquid allowance. Though they’re backing off of that… When departing the 🇺🇸, we were not required to take liquids out, but we’re on the way back.

Takes some trial & error. Great product
I have purchased this product three times. It takes some time to get the hang of how much powder to pour into your hand. The packaging is great. My first purchase was the set that included the small aluminum bottle. Now I have purchased refills twice. I like the smell and it does a good job cleaning my hair. I'm happy about not throwing another plastic bottle in the garbage every time I run out of shampoo.

My new go-to for travel AND home. Never seen anything like this!!
Amazing!! Especially for travel. It’s shampoo in a powder form, but NOT dry shampoo- you mix it with water to make regular shampoo!I took this shampoo on a recent trip when I didn’t want to take up too much of my suitcase with shampoo, and didn’t want to take my chances on whatever the drugstore at my destination might have in stock. SO glad I tried this and I’ve even been using it, even at home, ever since!!You just keep it in an airtight container (I reused a small bottle I had.) Wet your hair, shake some out into your hand, SPRINKLE IN SOME WATER AND MAKE A PASTE (this is key!!), and then apply to your hair as regular shampoo. It makes the creamiest, most amazing foam. I shampoo twice because I have long hair and don’t like to wash and dry my hair every day if I can help it, so I really appreciate the guide to how much foam to expect that’s on the package. My hair feels so clean afterwards, and amazingly MOISTURIZED!! Love that its sulfate-free and safe for my color-treated hair, and eco-friendly too! This powder shampoo is a unique concept, whoever invented this is a genius!! Truly LOVE this product.

Not using as instructed, but works great; edit: doesn't dissolve?
I have very, very thick hair, and have started using liquid-to-lather type shampoos on my hair. These shampoos have a twisty nozzle tip that lets you directly apply shampoo to the scalp, rather than having to reapply a couple time just to get through my hair to the scalp.I hated buying these shampoos though, as they are more watery and generally less eco friendly to transport as a consequence. I decided to refill an empty bottle with a few tablespoons of powdered shampoo, then filling the bottle up with water. It works very well.I have to shake the bottle before each shampoo, as the powder will settle between showers, but it doesn't seem to diminish its effectiveness. I 100% plan to use powdered shampoos from here on out, since it is more eco friendly and gives me a lot of power over how concentrated the shampoo is. Plus, this way, I can grab the shampoo from the bag when I am dry and not showering, and not worry about getting water or steam into the shampoo bag.So, I cannot say how well this works as instructed, but if you are concerned about using the powder directly, try out the above method instead.Edit:Dropping my rating. I am a bit concerned that this shampoo doesn't fully dissolve. I noticed that, after showering, a clay-like residue collects in corners of my tub. I also notice that the powder sitting in the water bottle I use doesn't dissolve; even after 1+ weeks in a bottle at low concentration, there is a lot that doesn't dissolve and just sits as a solid layer in the bottle.I worry that this could have a negative impact on sewage systems, or for people who may use septic tanks. A part of the reason why I got powdered shampoo is to reduce my carbon footprint and be better for the environment, but if this shampoo doesn't fully dissolve in water, that goes against the reason to buy this.I might contact the manufacturers to get their input, and I'll update again.

So fresh and so clean
I never write reviews but it’s taken a long time to find an eco-friendly shampoo that makes my hair this shiny and fluffy and yummy smelling. It cleans without stripping, I even stopped using conditioner. Holy grail! Love that it’s so easy to travel with and lathers WELL. A little goes a long way. I do my head in segments starting with the crown, then the front, then the nape. As other reviews have stated, you can just reuse an old spice shaker for dispensing. Refreshed, minty, moisturized hair!

Finally a good eco friendly shampoo!
For a few years now I've been searching for an eco friendly shampoo that doesn't ruin my wavy hair and keeps my scalp from getting greasy. Around Christmas, I got this and the pack lasted me nearly five months, and I have long and thick hair. It smells amazing, I can get away with washing my hair two- three times a week, and it's way easier to use than bar shampoos I've had in the past. I keep my shampoo in a grated cheese container and it works like a charm. My only complaint is that it easily clumps and is hard to use clumped pieces, but with a little time and a sieve it works fine again. Definitely a favorite product of mine
