Speck Products Presidio Grip Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy Note8 - White/Black Presidio Grip

Now on my second one of these for my Note 8. The first one lasted over three years so very happy. It's not too bulky but still protects the phone. Very comfortable in the hand. Highly recommended.

This is a great case. It adds physical security without bulk, either in weight or size. The grip is solid, the case fits perfectly, covering what it needs to without interfering with use of the phone. The button covers are solid and do not interfere with pressing the buttons in the slightest. They actually make them easier to find by feel. All of the ports (S-Pen, etc.) are readily accessible except for the SIM/SD slot, but you almost never need to access that, so it isn't a big deal. The case does not interfere with the thumbprint scanner or cameras at all. If anything could be changed, it would be to make the headphone port opening a tiny bit larger, as it's too small for some headphone plugs, which means you have to remove the case to plug them in. Bluetooth headphones are the way to go these days, and 99.9% of my use is with them, so not a major issue at all. If you use wired headphones you might want to shave the port a tiny bit to enlarge it.Ultimately, I have 100% confidence that this case will protect my phone if I drop it, which is the main thing.I've owned Speck products before and never had any issues, over years of use. This one developed a small crack in the top-left corner after about 3 months. This was possibly because I was using that corner to pry the case off for the abovementioned headphone issue. The warranty-replacement process was a breeze. The instructions were easy to find on Speck's website and their employees were very quick to reply, accept my case and send the replacement. I had a new one in just a few days.

I've always liked speck cases, but the grip models are especially good for those newer non-durable basically made of glass phones, good durability without adding much bulk to the phone & the grip is the seller, it feels more secure in your hand & when it's in your pocket, also if you have a phone with a case & it still finds itself on the floor after placing it on a table or etc.The speck grip case is the one to stop the phone from ending up on the floor & even if it did, the case will still protect the phone anyway, also it does have that extra inch around the front ends so if the phone falls flat face down, the ends does it's protection there too.The cases have had it's longevity too at least for me personally, I believe even if you can be kinda reckless with your phone, they'll still last for you, I've seen worn speck cases that looked beat up, worn, old & ready to be replaced but I'd still say it's still good for protection, which is what it's mainly for anyway.So if your looking for something simple to protect your phone, without adding bulk & feeling secure & lasting as long as the phone itself this is the one.

This is a REAL review...I'm not getting paid, nor was I given a free or reduced-priced item. I decided to write this review, because there are so many fake reviews out there, and I wanted to share my actual experience....I will be doing this for all the items I buy on Amazon.This is the second identical Speck case that I have bought for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I really like this case, but it's not perfect.It is very easy to put the phone in, and take it out....but there is no risk of the case falling off. It fits well. It has ridges around it, which help when gripping it....it will not fall out of your hand with ordinary use. I can't vouch for a person's carefulness, however....it's up to the individual to hold onto the phone with some semblance of responsible behavior!I've dropped my phone a number of times, by accident....accidents do happen! The lip of the case has protected my phone. However, if you knock the phone directly on the front...such as, when holding the phone, and it knocks into something if you are moving your arm, for example....the case cannot protect the exposed screen, obviously. That is when you also need a good tempered-glass screen protector. I'll review mine elsewhere.But this case does offer a good bang for the buck, so to speak. It's not an Otterbox, but I really don't like carrying anything that bulky. If you don't need industrial-strength protection, this case is really pretty heavy-duty and will do the trick for most people.The reason it doesn't get 5 stars, is because the little ridges do start to wear down and start to tear off, if you use your phone a lot. Mine started to show wear after about a year.For under ten bucks, though....this really is a great little phone case!Pleas let me know if this review helped at all. That way, other people can read my various reviews, and know they are reading about items actually purchased and used by a typical person....not like those fake reviews that people write, just so they can receive free merchandise.I research everything I buy, so that I don't waste my money....it's unpleasant to find out that some of the info I read is phony. I hope this REAL review is able to help someone decide to buy, or not to buy, this item.

Nice and durableb cover

Die Hülle ist stabil, rutschfest und schützt nahezu perfekt. Klar nach längerem Gebrauch können sich ein paar Rippen auf der Rückseite etwas lösen (bei meiner älteren Hülle). Und sicherlich gibt's auch Ausnahmen, die, etwas schlechter verarbeitet sind. Trotzdem hält die Hülle mein Smartphone perfekt geschützt. Würde sie immer wieder kaufen.

This is a sleek - low profile/ thin case for the Note 8. It also has enough of a lip so when you place your phone, case down - the screen doesn't touch the surface, thus helping protect it from scratches. The case holds the phone securely and should provide excellent drop protection. Very happy with this purchase. PLUS - it works with my wireless charger.

This is for me, the perfect compromise of protection and aesthetics. The case has a really good fit, everything is snug and stays on the phone. The only section where there is a small amount of give is on the volume buttons, which is very minor.The corners are ridged and don't press onto the screen when pushed which is great for glass screen shields. I currently use the whitestone dome and it has zero issues. This case works perfectly with it.Buttons are very responsive and feel great as well. There is also a really good lip on the front for putting your phone face down. The s-pen for me is easy to get to when needed and that corner has more of a raise for protection than most cases which I love. Less worried about that corner being hit if the phone falls vs other cases.

White version looks amazing and the grip is very nice. My phone feels alot safer and comfortable in the hand with this case.
