Cool little light, very good for the price
Nifty little light. Silent interface (no click). The only pity is that it doesn't have a tail switch: with one, it would be perfect.Really like the fact that it remembers settings. Feels great in the hand.

Not your average CREE light. ITs a JETBEAM
I love jetbeam products, level of care and attention to detail is great. Keep it up

Outstanding performance, OK ergonomics...
If this had been released a decade ago, it would have seemed like something out of science fiction. On the high setting it is about a dozen times brighter than a classic police tactical flashlight. On the lowest setting it will run for days. It can be recharged with a standard micro-USB cable so that you start each outing with a full battery. Excellent beam quality, water resistant, good value for the money, etc. However, several manufacturers now offer compact high-performance tactical lights and you might want to do a little research to see if this one has the particular mix of features for its intended use. Some folks prefer a tailcap switch or a rotating bezel instead of the side-mounted button used here. Once you get the feel for it, this one allows quick one-hand access. Two fast clicks gets you instantly to the turbo strobe mode, which is great if you are walking along a dark rural road in the rain and want to be noticed by drivers. The down side it that it tends to get turned on accidentally if you try to carry it loose in your pack or pocket. The form factor may be a bit different from what you are used to. It feels great in the hand, but what do you do with it when you are not holding it? It's too big for a keychain, too short for a belt sheath. You can try tossing it into your EDC bag, but it is small and dense enough to quickly end up at the bottom. You can try carrying it in a pocket if you have baggy pants. I tried clipping it onto the molle webbing on my EDC pack, where it was easily accessible for use. The problem was that it kept getting knocked off when getting in and out of vehicles or tight coach airline seats. I lost two of them that way. When I get my 3rd one I intend to sew a small cordura canvas pouch for it.Some reviewers on another site expressed concern about its water resistance, but that has not been a problem. OK, so you can't take it scuba diving, but it seems to resist any normal amount of rain. I accidentally dropped one into a sphagnum bog one night and it didn't even flicker. The run time and high-beam performance are somewhat sensitive to your choice of battery. I have had good luck with the Nitecore IMR 18350 cell. If you decide to go with this flashlight, spend the extra little bit on a good battery. You won't be disappointed.OK, now for a problem that nobody ever talks about. Several of the vendors who advertise these online do not actually stock them. They just take your order and then pass it along to be drop-shipped from China. I tried buying one from Amazon a few months ago. After not getting it for many weeks, my order was cancelled. Same experience twice on eBay. Battery Junction is at least honest about what is actually in stock. Do your homework before you order.I can't say if this is the best choice for you, but I keep replacing mine with the same model.
