EDGELEC 100pcs 130K ohm Resistor 1/4w (0.25 Watt) ±1% Tolerance Metal Film Fixed Resistor, Multiple Values of Resistance Optional

I replaced my car's dome light bulb with an LED, and because of the way the door switch works, there was still a little current going to it that would normally not be enough to power an incandescent bulb, but since the LED only takes a fraction of the current to power, it would stay on dimly even when the door was closed and it was supposed to be off. Well, I looked up what to do about it and found someone suggesting to stick in a resistor with the same specifications as this one, and viola, it worked! I have it a bit jury-rigged for now, with the leads off the resistor just wrapped around each bulb-holder prong (it's one of those "festoon" style bulbs). If I get the time I'll solder it in a little more nicely later on. The only problem I have now is that I literally only needed one, and now I have 99 left over because I thought I was only getting a 10 pack but it was 100! Haha

Came as a tape roll, not loose, which is good as I prefer the tape roll. Randomly tested about 20 resistors, all were within spec. Perfect for my purposes.

What can I say, the price was right, and while I only just needed 2, it's always good to have a lot of extra 1k resistors for pull-up's when working with TTL electronics.

This worked on my ls swapped 944, the tach in the 944 would not pick up the weak 5 volt signal from the ls pcm...installed this in line with the tach signal wire and the factory tach stated working..

I used this to convert president 10 meter radio to cb and they seem like A decent quality resistor. Working fine in my radio.

The good:- Inexpensive- Nice packagingThe bad:- Hard to get back into the package- Slightly smaller than 28 gauge (don't get these for breadboarding)- Not to spec (<= 1%)Measuring 5 random resistors from three sets (330, 220, 100 ohm) with my Fluke 289 they are more like +/- 2%. (One of my 220 ohm resistors was 216.74 ohms) If you're ok with not getting 1% or willing to measure and sort them out these may be for you.

I used this resistor for the jeep 3.0L swirl valve delete/ bypass and works perfectly.

I measured the resistance on these with my multimeter, they are in fact 3.6k ohm as advertised.

I was hoping for a thicker metal and not so flimsy but they do not work just fine.

Cheap and good quality. And the 100 pieces is a nice bonus. I used these resistors in place of my car's side airbags in the seats to mimic the circuit and it worked great. No SRS dash light.
