Decent
Decent replacement for loose/broken key

Great key. Need to do a little work to get original key blade to fit.
Was worried due to cheap price and some reviews. It fits and works great. I did have to use a little mechanical wisdom to get old key blade out of old key fob. Had to hammer out the little tiny roll pin from plastic lock piece and transfer to new plastic lock piece then used epoxy to glue it securely into the new fob. Epoxy probably wasn’t necessary but I feel better with it.

Broke within a month
Rather quickly, it quit holding the key. The key actually fell out a few times onto the ground. Then it just completely broke. I soldered the key onto a quarter, then put it on a key ring to attach it to the remote. Holds remote board just fine, and buttons work fine.

My 2001 Land Rover key was a mess! The buttons had completely worn away--- This shell not only was easy to put together, it works perfectly! To my surprise, when I took off a small black piece of tape on the front of the key, it had the Land Rover Logo! I checked out the original key and it comes from the same manufacturer! Highly, Highly, Recommend!

Flimsy
The media could not be loaded. Might be usable in a sticky situation if you ripped the blade out of the shell and used needle nose to stick it in the ignition. Blade so loose from body of key that the locksmith asked if I planned to actually put it in my ignition.

Excellent it works perfectly with my 2003 Land Rover Discovery it's always good to have a spare key

Nicely built, and fits the board. . .but the actual key. . .does not match the factory original
When I took the blank to several locksmiths, we found that one of the grooves on the side of the key (which is used to locate the key in the duplicating chucks) is not the same size or shape (in relief) as the original. This prevents properly calibrated key duplicators from being able to accurately cut the new key. While I did argue with the key duplicator operator that they could re-align the machine to make it work, they were correct in that the key blank is NOT a good blank, as there is a noticeable difference between the blank and the original. Be prepared to have to deal with issues if you insist that they make this key work. I plan on returning as soon as original Land Rover keys arrive.
